Looking for a rehearsal dinner site!!
Hi all-We're getting married in Floral Park, Queens and are looking for a mellow, low-key type of place for our rehearsal dinner. Our wedding is an Italian feast so we wanted to hold the rehearsal in a restaurant with American cuisine.
Any suggestions would be wonderful!!
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a rehearsal dinner site!!
Well, you can try Trinity on Jericho Turnpike. I've heard that their food is really good, and their prices are reasonable. There are alot of places on Jericho Tpke. that you might want to look at. Jonathan's is one of them, also Harper's on Union Tpke., in Lake Success. Hope this helps! Bye the way what church are you getting married at? I'm getting married at Our Lady of Victory, and that is in Floral Park.

Thanks so much for your suggestions! Ugh...I'll have to go out to eat again to test these places out!! I put on like 10 pounds testing out caterers!!!We're getting married at the Queens County Farm Museum-the ceremony and reception are both being held there!

Re: Looking for a rehearsal dinner site!!
That is so funny that you are getting married there, because after my ceremony I'm going to take pictures there w/ my new husband and wedding party. It is so beautiful there at that time of the year. I've eaten at Harper's and I enjoyed the food there. I also was going to have my sisiter's baby shower there, but she had the baby before the shower so that had to be cancelled. My friend has eaten at Trinity, and she really raved about the food, and she's picky. Good Luck.

All of my big stuff is done. Now it's just that small annoying stuff. How are you doing w/ your planning? I know how you feel time is just flying.

We are having our RD at CP MIchaels on Covert Avenue. Jamesons on Tulip Avenue in the village of Floral Park has packages too. Both places have good food.Happy Planning!

I'm in the same boat as you--big stuff is done but now all the small details need to be worked out! It's amazing how time consuming and stressful the little things are.I hope the weather for your day is beautiful!! That's when the leaves are at their peak colour time!!!
