Brides with Corset back dresses.....

Can you please post a pic of the back of your dress with either you or the model in you dress? When I ordered my dress the woman suggested that I order a larger size so there won't be such a big gap where the corset is. I am jsut concerned b/c the sample dress was big on me as it is and they ordered my dress a size larger than that.

I don't have a corset but you can have the seamstress fill in the gap with fabric so you don't see any skin if you want.

i had a flap in my dress so there would be material and not skin showing

Is the corset not closing because of your chest? That is one reason why a salon might order a larger size, but if that is not the problem the corset should close properly.

I tried my dress on 2X, the first time they did not tie it right and there was like a 10 inch gap and then someone else came over and did it and the gap was only like 4 inches.

I was told if the corset is not tied right, the entire dress will not fit correctly

The corset is closing correctly. The bridal salon suggested I order a larger size so the corset is closed more than open. I personally think if some skin is showing, it's sexy. I have attached a pic of what the back of the sample dress looks like on me. Please understand that they ordered a size larger than the one in this pic. I just get worried b/c the more alterations, the more money they charge and there is not cap at my salon. The dress fits fine with my chest. I actually have to have the dress taken in for that. This is why I could not understand why they would order a larger dress. My gf told me to keep in mind that it is a sample dress and that many people try it on, heavy set woman, etc. and it can be stretched out. I guess that sounds right...

I want to thank all the ladies for their help.
