anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
for everyone taking pics before the ceremony have you thought about taking outdoor pics? concerned about wrinkling dress or screwing up your hair or makeup?my photographer recommended taking pics at Old Westbury Gardens, I'm worried about getting a windblown look before the ceremony

Re: anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
i'll probably do the same, the place i'm getting married doesn't really have an outdoor area for pics, but it will be less of a hassle

We are. Hopefully just at the church. I was thinking the botanical gardens but there's a garden behind our church so we'll take them there.

Re: anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
We're taking pictures at the beach before. I'm a little worried about the dress getting dirty before the ceremony, but hopefully it won't be too bad. I'm going to bring a sheet to use if I have to sit or lean on something.A friend of mine is doing my hair so I'm going to ask her to come back after we take our pics to do some touch ups before the ceremony.

Re: anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
FH and I are thinking about it. I intially did not want to, not because of worries of how I will look or getting dirty but I wanted to make sure photographer was able to catch the 'wow' factor of us seeing one another. I am now certain they will after seeing so much of their previous work. To date we are still up in the air as to where we will go if we end up doing this.

Re: anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
No- It would really be a timesaver but we're doing so many other things the traditional way.I've always dreamed about that moment where he sees me walking down the aisle.
For me, that's priceless.

Re: anyone taking pics before wedding ceremony
We are taking pics at OWG before the ceremony and are really excited about it. Since our wedding is in November, if its cold, we may be able to take pics inside. We are going to have a special moment just the 2 of us, seeing eachother for the first time, and I think it will be just as special. Plus, we won't be as nervous during the ceremony.

I'm taking pics before the ceremony & I hear that chalk gets out any small spots on your dress.
