Wedding Day/Friend's B-day
OMG! I just booked last night and with all the excitement I did not realize that it is my friends birthday. She will be in my BP.What do you think about this situation? I can't believe it did not cross my mind. Is there anything wrong with it?

I personally wouldn't mind, depends on how your friend is. Some people it does bother them but I think most won't mind at all, just see what her reaction will be but dont think you should worry about it.

Re: Wedding Day/Friend's B-day
My wedding day is one of the GMs birthday and he lives right around the corner from the RH. So I'm going to have them sing Happy Birthday to him and bring out a mini cake or something. And then I believe the after party is at his house. At least he wants it to be, but I don't know yet.

I am getting married on my SIL birthday. She is so excited about it. We are going to have a cake for her at the after party.

Re: Wedding Day/Friend's B-day
We have a friend who was a wedding last year on her birthday and will be at our wedding on her birthday this year.I also have a cousin who's birthday is the same day, and someone FH works with too ...
We didn't realize it either, in all the excitement of booking the hall.

It is actually my mother's 50th birthday the day of my wedding, and she is excited about it! I think (because it is my mother) we will have a cake for her there...soo it is fine..it will probably be fun for her!

Have a cake for her and sing happy birthday at your wedding. Our wedding day was my aunt's b-day and we did that.

Re: Wedding Day/Friend's B-day
My best friend's birthday was the same day as my sister's wedding- and my bf had a great time! My family had a cake and candle presented to her and we all sang!We also have a few on our wedding day- we plan on singing and having a cake presented to them as well.
I think it's a fun way to celebrate a birthday!

I don't think it's a big deal. If you want to acknowledge her birthday get her a little cake. My wedding is on my cousins wedding and he thought it was great!

Re: Wedding Day/Friend's B-day
If it were me, I would love it!!! It gives your friend a great night out on her birthday! but let me ask you, what birthday is this? is a monumental one? like 21st, 30th, etc.?I wouldn't tell her that you forgot about her birthday when you were booking, but if she's a close friend (as she may be since she's in your BP) and you want to run it by her, then I would just say 'we worked with Russo's' dates available and this is what worked for us, does it bother you?'

She will be 32! To tell you the truth I didn't think about it until it came out of my mouth to her. Her reaction was: You didn't ask if you could use my special day (in a laughing manner). I couldn't believe I didn't think about it. That is not like me at all. But she says she is fine with it. I hope so.
I will definatley make sure Happy Birthday is played to her!

ok since she'll be 32, then it's not a birthday that she could possibly also be having a b-day party.....it sounds like she took it in stride!! good thing!! having date drama is no fun!! (I went through it for a bit in the beginning of our engagement!).
