Try calling some area hospitals, alot of them have physician referral lines where they will let you know names, numbers, addresses, etc. of doctors in your area that are affiliated with the hospitals. Often, if you ask, they will give you their credentials also, so you know it will be a very reputable dr.

For Good Samaritan Hospital that number is 631 376 4444. (yes they have some Nassau dr.s also!)

For the Mather-St.Charles Health Alliance (John T Mather Memorial Hospital and St. Charles Hospital) that number is 631 474-6030.

For St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, that number is 631-870-3444.

P.S> All these hospitals will mail you a paperback book containing every physician of every specialty affiliated with their hospitals. (And Good Sam's book has pics of the physicians, too! Pick a cute one!)

I go Long Island Womans Helath Care in Bellmore. It's on Merrick Road.

They have a few women there. I've seen 2 of them and they were both very nice.

I went to her few several years. Then she moved to Oceanside and I switched to a dr that wa closer. She is very sweet.
