Engagement party dress
Does anyone have any suggestions of places I could go to look for a dress for my engagement party? I have been to a couple of bridal salons, but have had no luck. Any suggestions would be helpful...Thanks!

i dont know what kind of dress you are looking for but i highly reccomend moonlight couture in merrick! i got my e-dress from them ... it was actually a wedding gown that was like a champagne color and i had the seemstress take the whole dress apart including the train with the beads and crystals and resew them back onto the bottom of the dress without the train. the designer of the gown was rena koh! i have never been sooo happy with the work done on a gown before. they were wonderful! they are a little expensive but well worth it! the price of the dress was $1100! but i am a true believer in that saying you get what you pay for!!!! i also have gotten gowns from sugarplums in lynbrook- but there attitude in there is horrible but they have gorgeous gowns also! good luck!!!!

I bought mine at the Macy's in Manhasset. But they did have nice dresses at Lord and Taylor and at Estelle's on Route 110 in Farmingdale. Good Luck!
