1st Anniversary Gift Ideas....

I know that everyone posts with this question when their day comes......but I am truly at a loss.

We really don't have a lot of money to get big gifts.....and of course the only ideas I have are expensive. Our limit is $150.

The whole 1st year paper thing is pretty hard too!!

The cutest thing I have seen is this site that sells one share of stock for big coportations.....you get it framed and engraved. The whole point is it is paper and the idea in 50 years when you are still hopefully married it might be worth something. It's cute but I kinda feel like it is too boring.....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

I saw something really cute that fall under the 'paper anniversary'. Look at this website: mydavinci.com You can get a picture sketched from a photograph. A favorite pic of you and your hubby made into a sketch and framed would be a really nice gift. Do a search here though. I know I posted this before when someone else asked for ideas and there were more ideas under that thread.

If you like to reflect back on what was happening in the world on the day of your wedding, how about a newspaper from the date you were married? We've ordered from anydate.com, and were happy with their product. They have several different ways the newspapers are presented in binders and such.
