Hotel in NYC for night of bachelorette party

Hi,

I am looking for a hotel in NYC to stay the night of my bachelorette party. I am trying to find a room that will be big enough for a few of us to get ready and do some pre partying.
I would love to get a suite somewhere, but keep it under $500.
Location isn't huge, but it would be nice to be in midtown or somewhere north of midtown.

any suggestions???

we stayed at the hyatt at grand central - i dont remember how much we paid but it was nice and in the middle of everything

search on expedia.com I was looking for the same thing a few weeks ago and saw some nice suites. pretty sure it was midtown.

GEt a price for the Buckinham on 57th. They have a mini-apartment with a kitchen, bedroom and living room. When I booked it I paid about 250 but I don't know if it was off season. Check it out.

affinia dumont hotel is on 34th street and has the oasis day spa located in it.
this is what we are doing for my best friend.. cant wait! I think the total cost is $537 but it includes treatments for everyone. It comes out to $107 pp

we stayed at the Belvedere on Lexington and got a great price...not a suite though- but they may have them

Did you price out anything on sites like expedia? This can give you an idea of what places you can afford.

When we had my girlfriend's bachelorette in NYC we stayed at the Beekman Tower Suite Hotel (near the United Nations)...the rooms are mini-apartments...with a kitchen/living room/bedroom...we were able to pre and post party there
