Theme Question

Soo, me & my fiance are big into wine & the vineyards. We are getting married in the Fall (Sept). I was planning on doing choc brown, champagne (neutral colors for the BM's) and using fall flowers for bo-q's such as sunflowers. However, I also want to incorporate the wine theme...Is this too much to have a Fall theme and a Vineyard theme??

When you consider the Fall theme though harvest season for the grapes is in the Fall so can it encompass both???...Oh I'm so confused !!

Help please !!

Re: Theme Question

I dont think so. i think you just have to keep in mind less is more. Like hmmm I LOVE sunflowers and if you do them as CPs, thats beautiful and affordable but you could throw in 'vineyard' touches such as the wine cork holders for your place cards. In your invites, use vineyeard touches. Umm hmm the colors are very neutral but would you consider maybe using wine accents? Like wrapping wine colored ribbons around the bouqets? Let me think on it a bit more lol. This is a challenge!

Re: Theme Question

Hi Jen, you can definetly use both. Sunflowers are in season already, that's a plus. YOu are already doing it in a Vineyard so keep that theme as an accent. I am sure, it will be beautiful. I agree with PeteysBride.

Re: Theme Question

Thanks Peteysbride & Karina...well now I think I changed my mind about the flowers hahahaha. I am worried that sunflowers will not stay all day & I want more of an elegant look so I am thinking calla lilies. I will accent the vineyard theme by possibly adding some green to the bo-q. I will also do the cork for the place cards (good idea !). I picked out a cake that has green grapes on it - it's actually in my album. I also plan on giving wine as my favors. Instead of table numbers I will name the tables after wine me and FH like or LI wineries.

My wedding is two yrs away so I will probably change my mind a hundred times between then and now. Karina, I don't think we are going to pick the vineyrad caterers for our RH. We're still looking at places - we have about 15 on our list ! I will keep you posted.

Any other flower themes I could use with a vineyard theme???? Do you think neutral colors will be ok for my BM dresses??
