UPDATED On the bottom of post 4/20/07**Please Please Please send some prayers and good wishes for DH.....

He has an interview today at 10:30am for a promotion to supervisior. He's wanted this position since he started with the company 3yrs. ago. I never thought it was a good idea because the financial promise was greater with another position but this is what he wanted so Im standing behind him. He's more than qualified, and capable of doing an outstanding job, but my fear is that about a year ago he made a mistake on his job and they have been punishing him ever since they even demoted him at one point and he's been struggling to get back to were he was never mind getting a promotion. There are two big bosses and one of them isnt very nice. DH was told about 2months ago that they felt he shouldnt be penalized any longer and that as soon as a spot in his old division opened that he would be moved back . Well needless to say they've passed him up 3 times since then and the people they promoted into his old spot call him at home to ask him how to handle things and even has to do ride alongs with these new people and show them how to do his job which is a slap in the face. Anyhow, Im totally getting off track Okay any prayers or good wishes for him that he gets what he wants would be greatly appreciated

Thanks soooo much! I really want him to do well. He's been beating himself up since being dropped from his division which in July will be a year(was only supposed to be possibly 6months)

Thanks! Today is the seventh anniversary of my dad passing so Im hoping he comes home with some good news! He needs this too for himself because like I said he's been down since last July and when the job opportunity came up he was like a little kid about going for it.

DH is home and said the interview went really good. He said the mean boss joked around with him the whole time and kept telling him that his answers were really good. DH said he got a much better feeling from talking to her this time then ever before. Everyone will know on Friday! Please keep your fingers crossed

DH didnt get it and for some reason he was the first called, no one was being told until today and they called him in the office yesterday to let him know. They thanked him for coming down for the interview and said to be honest they were surprised when they saw he was going for the position. However, it turns out that after the interview they(big boss and the supervisor) told him they were very impressed with his interview and have a found appreciation of him and see plenty of potential for him in the company but they deceided to go with someone else because only one person can have the job out of the supposed 17 people who interviewed. He told him not to feel bad though because he did great and they are aware of what a great job he's doing for the company in the position he already has but like I said(the supervisor said this)I as well as ****see alot of potential for movement within the company for you.. I feel so bad for him even though he keeps telling me that he's okay with it. But he keeps bringing it up to tell me he's okay with it There are supposed to be atleast 4 new positions opening up within the next few weeks to months but DH doesnt know if they are blowing smoke or were sincere. He's gonna talk to the other guys tonight at work to see who got the position and what the guys who didnt were told when they were told they didnt get it.
I just wanted to update you and say thanks for all the and well wishes you guys are great.
