Booked my first florist appointment!!!!@ Burtons!!

At Burtons! So excited!!!! Next Saturday!!! This is out first real visit to a vendor (other than wedding world) its very exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone book with them? our appointment is with mike. Any input??

Your appointment willbe quick... your not going to be there more than a half hour tops...youll see what they have in terms of high and low pieces and ull pick what u like and hell base the price on that...the only way itll change is if u add or subtract A CP, or go from low to high or high to low. He let me run around iwth a bridal bok that had 50 red roses! He also showed me a real calla lilly Bm bok...i got to hold them both to see their size and weight...we did the contract gave him 50 bucks and he toldme to keep looking around at what i liked and bring in pictures nextyear!!!

he wore a cliff huxtable sweater... i was laughing the whole time with FH.

lol!!! that is tooo funny!! Thanks so much for the info. we are just going to get prices and ideas we will not have any $$ to put down on flowers untill likke june! Plus they r our first flower vendor so we dont wanna book right away

i used burton's!! we had a very simple floral package (no cp's, just rose petals), boks, boutinerres, corsages, and cake decorating.

i LOVED my bo-k, the colors were so rich.

everyone LOVED how they decorated our cake too. i just told them i wanted lavendar roses on the cake--and they took care of it!

i had a teeny issue with them on the day of (nothing major--cause obviously i'm still recommending them), u can see it in my review.

but all in all they were great, and you can't beat the price!

I got a quote from them through e-mail. It seems reasonable and I have a pretty good idea of what I want. I'll probably shop around a little bit just to get ideas of pricing. I've only heard of good things from them.
