My sister's going to be on Dr. Phil's show...

Hubby and I get back from vacation (1st anniversary honeymoon do-over) and there were 3 messages on my answering machine from my youngest sister. Now you have to understand that she hates machines and never leaves a message. I called her right away thinking there was an emergency and I find out that she and her husband who have been married for 6 years are being flown to CA on Monday to be the featured couple on a Dr. Phil show!!! Holy cow!!!

A production crew came to their house last Thursday and spent the entire day taping them. They even taped them at Mama Lombardi's restaurant (next to Villa Lombardi) having lunch (although on the show it is supposed to be dinner). The show is being taped on Tuesday but she doesn't know when it will air. My brother-in-law who is a terrific guy apparently has a jealousy issue and my sister wrote a letter last winter in response to a Dr. Phil appearance on Oprah. The Oprah producers had called her a while ago, but then Dr. Phil got his own show so now they are going to be on that instead. They way they tape the at home stuff is really interesting and I can't wait to see it on TV!!! Of course I will have to tape it since I am at work when the show is on

I will be sure to let everyone know. She and her hubby flew to CA last night and the taping was supposed to be today then they are flying back tonight .They offered them another day but my brother in law has to be back at work tomorrow afternoon so the trip was fast! I can't wait to hear the details .
