OMG! I just found out about my Bridal Shower!!

My friend just text messaged me, 'I m not going to Sally's shower'...she meant to send it to my bridesmaid Suzie-I guess I am before her in the contacts list in her phone book....

Anyway--I just kind of wanted to be a little surprised

But now I am uspet b/c I wanted it to be in the summer and if people got their invites already doesnt that mean its soon??

So here is my question....how long before do you send the invites for a bridal shower out? They def. sent them out this weekend!

Do you think it could be like July??

Usually about a month...sorry but I think it would be really early to get the invites now for a July shower.

I think probably not July. More likely it's in June if invitations were just sent out.

My wedding is the day after yours and I'm pretty sure my surprise shower is May 20th. My MOH wanted to do it before the summer, cause then alot of people go on vacation and won't be able to make it. Your shower is probably in a month.

It might be in July. Usually they go out about 6-4 weeks before hand, however some of them give the same amount of time as a wedding (which is 2 months).
My MOH sent my shower invitations out 2 months before hand.

Don't think about it too much if you want to be surprised.

Maybe it was a decoy text message!

Don't be upset over when the shower is (and don't worry yourself over when it is!) - Be happy that people who love you are throwing you an awesome shower.

(And FWIW, invites usually go out at least 4 weeks in advance - so you are looking at late June the earliest!)

I am getting married the day after yours and people started asking me about what I like most from the registry, which means my shower invite is out.

I think mine is end of June or July 1. I am starting to get alot of invitations for summer events, one of them must be fake!!

My shower invites went out about two weeks ago and the shower is in 2 weeks. I wanted my shower over the summer as well but due to the availailabiity of the bridal party, etc. it had to be the weekend in June.
