M.A.S. Music or Capriccio Ensemble??

I would really appreciate feedback anyone might have about these two vendors. I haven't read anything bad about either one and I'm torn as to which I should choose! Any advice/suggestions/comments???

For brides that have used a violinist, is one violin enough or do you need two?

i haven't used either, sorry, but i wanted to comment that the choice between 1 or 2 violinists would really depend on the music you select. if there's a part for the 2nd violin it could definitely add a little more fullness to the music, but if there isn't and both violins are playing the same thing then there's no real added value (from what i can see) other than the violins may overpower the other instruments. i would say one violin is enough...but that's just my opinion...

hi!
i used capriccio ensemble for my wedding--we had a string trio. i spoke with both M.A.S. and capriccio--and had the same problem as you in deciding between them!

in the end i chose Capriccio becaused i got along so well with Natalie and clicked better with her than Marie. you can read my review for more info on Capriccio--but i have nothing but GREAT things to say about them. they were wonderful

as per your question about # of violinists...that can depend on a few things. the type of arrangment/music you want can make a difference if you need 1, 2, 3 or even 4 musicians. also, it can depends on the size of the room and the acoustics.

I used classical chamberlan ensembles ,they are a vendor here. We did the string Trio, they were wonderful, I highly recommend!!

I am using Marie from M.A.S.
and she is awsome. we are haveing a violin and cello for ceremony and violin and keyboard for CH.

we are using M.A.S. Music..

Marie is SOOOO nice.. she's such a lovely person!

a friend of mine is a violinist and she plays in an orchestra herself.. she is also using M.A.S. music
