i think the flowers are pretty common---its that wrap around the stems that make it so chic--i actually really like it. something a lil different then just standard satin wraps---very cool

I think it is really pretty, my florist warned about gardenia though because it is such a fragrant flower, some people get headaches from smelling it all day.

My exact concern! Is there anything similar to this that will be in season in July?

I love the wrap on that. The flowers are pretty but it's definitely the wrap that makes it stand out.

I don't know when they are in season, but what about peonies? They might make it look even a little more vintage!
I also agree that the wrapping around the stem really 'makes' the look!

thats what i wanted- peonies! Theyre in season NOW, so im screwed for july
yea i love that wrap, definatly changes the entire look of a simple bo-k
which is just how i want it! Arghhhh!!!! I just want a delicate, fluffy flower like a peony but not as smelly as a gardenia

Isn't there another kind of rose that has a softer, more vintage look?I think Jiffy used them in her bouquet or was going to if I remember correctly?!

What about lisiantius (sp?). My MOH's bouquet in this picture is made out of them and I know you can also get them before they are opened so there is a mixture...Your's could have less green in it than hers....I had peonies in March and they weren't supposed to be in season but we lucked out. Maybe they will last until then?

I cant remember the name, but what about that type rose that starts with an R, maybe something like Rancoulous- a few girls on here have used them., they remind me of peonies.

That is so funny...that was my inspiration bo-k for the longest time. I decided to go with white peonies...but I gave it to my florist because I want the same time of look for the ribbon on the stem. So gorgeous.

ok first of all go HEREIt will give you a link to all the flowers in your season. Gardenias I totally forgot are NOT a good flower for you...they brown very easily and will die before she even takes it out of the box....peonies are great too but again...too hot!
i say garden roses and raunaculus, some sweet pea and dendrobian orchids...maybe some lisianthis for that open lush look....I have a pic I'll show u tonight u might like...the dendro orchids are kinda like the stephanoitis too but their more delecate looking and don't smell really....we'll talk tonight. I know my flowers
