Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

Hi all..I am interested in doing the save the date cards that were in the last martha magazine...it is a couple in a photo booth and in each picture they are holding the cards..save.. the.. date..and the last one is the date... I thought it was really cute.
The problem is I am having a hard time finding a place with the old style booth..alot of places just have the passport style type with one pic..
Anyone seen a place with the booth I am thinking of...in LI or NYC? Just thought I would ask...the more eyes the better!

Thanks!!

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

Have you tried Jillian's?? The sports/restaurant place? There is one in The Source and one a little further out on the Island. Give them a call..I'm pretty sure they have one! If not, a lot of the little older amusement parks have them too..maybe try Adventure Land on 110, or if you aren't too far from Brooklyn, Nelly Bly right off the Belt Parkway near Bay Parkway!

I bet Jillians or Sports Plus has one. You can call them and ask.

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

I'm not sure what kind of booth exactly you are looking for, but don't they have some kind of picture booths in malls? I think the Source Mall has one... it is not just a passport type picture booth... Broadway Mall has one too... I hope this helps....

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

I got a save the date card like that last January and it is the cutest thing ever! They live in San Francisco, but if you don't find a place around here to make them, I'll find out the name of the company in California that did it.

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

An invitation company actually makes the cards, you just give them the photos. The one I have has the photos on front and wording on back of a 5x7 postcard.

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

Do you think it's possible to make that into a larger size magnet?

Re: Save the Date - Photo Booth Question

I don't know. The one I have has four rows of the pictues, each with four pictures going down. If you put in less pics to make it smaller - you may lose the effect. Try drawing a picture the size you want and draw in the squares and see how many would fit.
