Makeup trial with Ultimate Look, and epics with Duet today!!!

Crazy day today. I guess I haven't a clue about timelines because it was constant rush. I also added a last minute cut/blow out which really made me crunched for time!

I started at Ultimate Look Salon in Farmingdale for my makeup trial with Stephanie. I wanted a natural, yet glowing look and I think she did a great job! Can't beat the price too. She can go to your house as well.

Then FH and I had our epics in Central Park with Sam of Duet. I felt so bad that I was 20 minutes late!!! Sam was AWESOME. He is so adorable and so funny - we had the best time. He got the most amazing shots and really knows exactly where to go and what angles to shoot from. Poor FH was a good sport....I know he was done after an hour of it all, but he hung in there. It is SO WORTH IT!! I don't know how I'm gonna wait to see them! I am too friggin excited!!

ETA: I almost rung FH's neck on the subway back from epics- it only JUST occurred to me right then- HE DIDN'T SHAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea how I didn't notice it before. He said it 'wasn't his day' to shave! Hopefully it won't look bad- UGH!! It was bad enough last epics he parted his hair in the middle- now he's gotta look like a bum?!

Tara, I am SO HAPPY that you liked Sam and that you are excited about your epics - I canNOT wait to see them!!!!!!!!! I'm sure they're amazing.

Your makeup looked really good! And I'm sure your FH looks great - he'll probably look like those sexy guys with a slight 5 o'clock shadow! Don't worry!!!

Love your trial pics!! You have gorgeous eyes!! And don't worry about FH not shaving! I am sure the epics will look fantastic. Think of it this way- you didn't even notice that he didn't shave until you were on the way home, so he couldn't of looked that scruffy!! Can't wait to see pics!!

Thanks for the compliment! It's funny, I did my highlights back in April....and for some reason in the pics I took it almost has an amber glow! I kinda like it! Not sure if it'll be easy to replicate. I really wanted her to go lighter on the highlights when I go back before the wedding- it's usually blonder. But I'm liking this color! Odd because I watched the video of my spring concert and HATED my color in that- it's amazing what natural lighting does!! If it looks that cool in the car- can't WAIT to see Sam's pics!

On the contrary, I think the make up is quite perfect! I love that your eyes pop because you have beautiful eyes, and the make up accents them, a lot of times, with blue eyes, if you over do the make up it take away from the eyes, also the lipstick is subtle, yet has enough color to balance out your eyes! I say your look is just what you are looking for

Thanks Lupe!! I'm dreaming of the quick turnaround, but Sam has a VERY busy weekend- he even has a wedding tomorrow! He said I'd see them in 4 weeks....oh well. He took TONS! I remember at one point- and we weren't even finished- he said he had taken about 300 at that point. So who knows how much he walked away with. Can't wait!! I can only imagine how it could come out...I just love his perspectives! He really knows how to get a great shot!!

FH was SO done. Sam kept saying 'Smile- WHITE TEETH!'

He was cracking me up!!! One of our first shots he wanted us to pretend we were practicing our first dance, and he made FH sing our song to me. We were dying! For one thing, those are two things FH CANNOT do- sing and dance!

And lol about your FH not shaving...mine did the same thing and I noticed only when we got the pictures back... I need to be on his abck the morning of the wedding making sure he shaves GOOD... not a quick sloppy job like he usually does
