Swan Club wedding review

We went to a wedding yesterday afternoon at the Swan Club. Everything was really nice although the weather was a little bit chilly.
The ceremony was held in the outside cottage looking thing. It was decorated nicely and pretty warm in there.
Then the cocktail hour was in a room all the way at the end of the place. There were about 200 people and this room was not suitable for that many people. It was really crowded and we had to stand and eat while getting pushed. But the food was really good (from what I managed to eat at the cocktail hour). Then we went into the room right next door (it was upstairs), which was a pretty room but again to small for the number of people at this wedding. It was crowded and you had to push in your chair to let people walk by including the wait staff. The food again was really good (had the filet mignon) which was excellent. Everyone at my table said they were happy with the food. Also, they were accommadating to all requests, we asked for Baileys and they went and got a bottle for us. Overall, it was nice (I've been to other weddings there before but not in this room), but really could have used another size room for the number of people. Also, kind of hard to see from where we were sitting because we had a mirror beam in our way and it was between two people sitting at the table, which was kind of annoying.

the swan club is deinately NOT for a big wedding, i agree on that 100%!

Wow, that is a lot of people to be in a small room. Im having like 105 people there at my wedding, so i wasnt too concerned with it being small. Im glad the food was good though!!
