BM's possibly wearing Tea Length dresses for a Saturday Evening Wedding? (Opinions Please)

All the dresses I seem to like are tea length. Do you think tea length is dressy enough for a Saturday Evening wedding? Opinions Please

I think the style of the dress makes it dressy, not the length.

My wedding was a saturday night and my bridesmaids all wore a tea length dress. It really looked beautiful and I received many compliments on the dresses.

I think it's fine. It's your wedding & if you like the style, I say go for it. We're having a Saturday afternoon wedding, but the girls are wearing full length dresses & the men are wearing tuxes anyway.

I agree. It's the style of the dress that counts and they shoes they wear. I say, 'Go for it'!

I am also torn bet tea length and long BM dresses. Someone pointed out to me that everyone (the guests) will be wearing shorter dresses and maybe the BM's wont stand out that much, I dont know.

I think the walking down the aisle, being announced, holding flowers, and having a group of women wearing the same dress will make your bridal party stand out........the length of a dress has nothing to do with it......

You do whatever you think looks nicest.

I'm old fashioned (being the MOB) and I think a lot of guests at a Saturday evening wedding would come wearing floor length gowns so why wouldn't you want the people most important (brides maids) wearing long gowns? But everyone is correct in the fact that it is YOUR weddings and you can do whatever you prefer.

I think it is totally fine, especially because it is in the Spring!
In the winter it might be too cold.

Sorry to contradict, but I had a Saturday evening wedding last June and the older ladies wore long dresses but the younger ladies wore shorter dresses. No one looked out of place, it's just what each happened to be most comfortable in.
