Honeymoon Sandals (Bahamas) or Aruba?

Which do you think is better? I have heard GREAT things about all Sandal resorts, that they cater to honeymooners and are al in-clusive. I have also heard great things about Aruba. Please advise...thanks girls!

I've heard the same about Aruba - perfect weather all the time... I've just been having a hard time finding a couples only place in Aruba... Personally I am probably going to settle on Sandals Bahamian Resort and Spa... I was in the same boat as you! It was a toss up between the both and although I heard FANTASTIC things about Aruba, my fiance and I are more laid back people, Aruba seems more up beat! (JMO) Which is fun for A LOT of people! Good luck, planning the honeymoon is probably very exciting, I haven't gotten to that part of planning yet!

Edited to say:
We were looking for all-inclusive as well, which is why Sandals is probably what we'll be doing

We were going to go to Sandals in the Bahamas but ended up in Aruba because when priced Sandals it was almost $9000 and we ended up going to Aruba with all meals and Airfare and rental car we paid $ 4500....and we are not big drinkers so Aruba was much better for us....

WOW! $9000, that's a lot of dough!

I definatly have to do more research! Where did you stay in Aruba if you don't mind me asking.. I am also torn between the Bahamas and Aruba

We stayed at La cabana
http://www.lacabana.com
It was nice and for what it was just a place to stay. We bought a house and did not want to break the bank on our honeymoon (we had already been living together for 3 years). So we did the All inclusive but also went out to resturants for 4 nights...and we rented a car...
the weather was beautiful and we were very relaxed....

I went to Sandals Royal Bahamian on my honeymoon, and without having ever been to Aruba, I would say Aruba is your best bet!

Thanks to all the good things I have heard from everyone on this board I think we are leaning towards going to Aruba for HM. We were originally thinking Sandels but may now look into the all inclusive in Aruba. If not the all inclusive any recommendations on where to stay?

I've been to Bahamas, and LOVED every minute of it, but for a HM, between the 2, I would have to say . . . ARUBA !!!!!! Exotic and beautiful !!! ARUBA ARUBA ARUBA !!!!!!!
