Passport update for anyone travelling before Sept 30th!!

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know if this hasn't been posted yet and anyone is still waiting for a passport an has applied, The US Passport agency has placed in effect a noticed that all individual traveling to Mexico or Caribbean before Sept 30th whom have already applied for a passport and have not yet received it will be able to travel with a printed copy of the status of there application (on website) and a government ID (License) and Birth certificate. FH applied on March 15th and has yet to receive his.

what about after september 30 haha..i applied 2 weeks ago and were leaving 10/14

I am not sure. Supposedly they plan on getting through all the applications by then.... We will see

thats interesting that they say you can go with a birth certificate considering the government needed it to process the passport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
