I wouldn't be mad if the reason was a good one. But, if you tell her you're just not into clubbing anymore and also that you're int he middle of renovating bathrooms, i could see how she wouldn't think this reason was good enough, since you're close enough to her to be her BM and this is her last night out as a single girl. I was in my cousin's wedding and her bachelorette party was unnecessarily expensive (I was a college student at the time), but nonetheles i went because it was her special night. We had a great time, and even though I was broke until my next paycheck, I'm glad I was there with her.

How would you feel about going to only part of the night? Like, meeting them at the club so you don't have to chip in for the limo? And only buying one or two drinks while you're there. Or, going to the 1st part - drinks at her house? That sounds like fun, and cheap too.

thats kinda tricky.........you accepted to be a BM and know there are responsibilities with that..........but at the same time you have all these expensive things to take care of between the house and the wedding. Is she an understanding person? if she is then just tell her you didnt realize how much $$ everything would be and you really can't afford a night out like that. maybe she change it or just be ok with the fact that u cant go!

honestly, if you cant afford it, thats fine. But i feel that i want all my girls to be there for me. what if you only did part? is she in you BP? how would you feel if she wasnt there?

It depends. Why is she not making it? Is it b/c she has to take her mom to the hospital for heart surgery that day? Because she booked a trip 2 years ago and cannot cancel without $1000 penalty? Was her dog hit by a car? REASON IS IMPORTANT.
