hotels near jericho terrace with possible bar/lounge for afterparty

i'm looking for a hotel near JT for my guests with a bar so i can throw an afterparty. do you girls know of any? other than garden city hotel?

I was told by 2 of the people from JT that the Wingate Inn (which will provide a free shuttle if you book 15 rooms) will stay open later than your wedding if you let them know in advance. I'm not that familiar with the bars in that area, so maybe post something on the NWR board for people that live in GC that can give a better answer. I know there are tons of bars in that area so it shouldn't be a problem.

we used the wingate inn....the hotel is SO cute and the afterparty area is really nice with tables & such....our wedding wasn't over untill 2:30 am & they still did the free shuttles & hosted to party untill the last guest crawled to their room

i used the wingate inn... i had an afternoon wedidng so we used the bar there from 7:00 PM til they closed it at 1:00 AM! they were really nice, but just be sure you clear it with them before hand.... i wanted to be positive there would be someone there serving! they also hot appetizers, etc. out which was nice.... but that must be something they usually do because we did not pay for that or request it.

I just went to a wedding on 7/3 at Jericho Terrace & we stayed at the Wingate. Very Nice!

since everyone already said the wingate which is great btw where we will be going. there is also the four point sheraton hotel in plainview. it's a 15 min drive but it's pretty nice. they do the after party also. they had amazing rooms, and even a nice pool. to far though for us. plus we love the bridal suite at wingate.

you should check out the holiday inn in carle place they might do an after party. i'm not sure if the hilton garden inn did one too. I don't think they do. you could try the roslyn hotel also but might be $$$. there really should be more hotels in the area.

oh yeah and the uniondale marriot might do it.

We are having our afterparty, and morning brunch at the wingate inn as well..

our guests stayed at the LI Marriott by nassau coliseum they had a bar there where we had an afterparty..
the wingate in was already booked when I called a year in advance!
