I'm leaving tomorrow for Virginia for two weeks...and my wedding is

August 4th

Yes I'm out of my flippin' head. I made this decision months ago....I had my reservations, simply because I'd be in Virginia, taking a pretty intensive course, and then I'd return just one week before my wedding.

I'm a bit passionate about teaching and I spend summers furthering my training in it. I have a friend who's the same, and we both admire this teacher that holds the course in, of all states, Virginia. Yes, we're nuts.

So here I am printing out programs, 3 weeks before the wedding, just to make sure most everything is done so I'm not killing myself the week of the wedding.

The good thing is that I really don't have much left to do for the wedding. I know everything is fine. But the last thing I want to do is spend hours a day concentrating on teaching music and being miles and miles away from home...and from Brett. I kinda want a vacation. I kinda wish I'd just be relaxing up until my wedding...but it's not gonna happen.

Thanks for listening. So I guess you won't be seeing much of me over the next couple of weeks. I hope I won't miss much!! I'm sure I can check in a couple times...gotta see how you ladies are doing and I gotta keep up with all the weddings!

I'm super nervous about this...I just don't feel ready to be absorbed in the music education world again when my mind is certainly on other things...but I guess I have no choice. Time to hit the road!! Just say a prayer that I can hold up over the next few weeks!

OMG I just left you a voice message! Everything is going to be great!! Your gonna have a great time and your gonna be away from all the wedding stress! This is a GOOD thing!
Try to have a great time..go have some drinks and party with jen a few nights! I'll be thinking of you..have fun, learn a lot, and call me if you need ANYTHING

Awww... don't feel bad. I'm supposed to go to Washington DC to see Jeffrey Carlson (love him!) in Hamlet on July 29th... and spend the rest of the week in DC! And my wedding is Aug 11th, so I know what you are going through.

It will all be okay!

Going to George Mason University in Fairfax. Thank goodness I'm going with a friend! There's no way I'd go otherwise when the wedding is three weeks away!

I guess what frustrates me is, I won't get to really ENJOY the weeks leading up to my wedding. I'll come home and it will be a whirlwind!

Don't stress...i was home & didn't really enjoy the last few weeks before the wedding...it was just stress & aggrivation! hahaa..try and enjoy it and look at it as a vacation, especially since you have a friend going..and say hi to my hubby...he is in Richmond! haha

You know almost everything is done. You have accomplished so much. Maybe it would be a nice change of pace to jump back into reality!!! I think you will be just fine. Then when you come home, it'll be here, no more waiting!!! Try to enjoy yourself wjile you are down there.

I think it's great to see what a passionate music teacher you are......if you are passionate you can inspire so many kids. So even though this might be not so great timing wise, I love that you are still going....have fun, good luck!

Don't stress to much, it'll all come together.....you'll see!

Try and enjoy VA. I know you will probably be thinking about the wedding the whole time. But you have been very organized so I think you should just relax and enjoy.

I think having something else to focus on in the weeks before the wedding is GREAT...it will make you that much more relaxed and READY for the big day mentally.

Plus, if this is something you are passionate about then nothing should get in the way (not even the wedding!! )

don't worry, the teacher training will help you keep your cool about the wedding... you have done a good job at keeping on top of your game

what a schedule! But it'll be worth it in the end!!!! I have to say goodbye to you now cause I'm leaving for Ireland a week from today!!! Good luck with everything! I know your wedding will be PERFECT!!! Hopefully we'll be able to meet up in Mexico!!!!
