Let us pray for all leaders of the world. May they make decisions based on love, working toward an end to injustice, poverty and discrimination. For this we pray… Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us pray for the lonely old and the lonely young, for the hungry rich and the hungry poor, for the sick in body, mind and spirit, for the weaknesses in all of us. For this we pray… Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us pray for all married couples. May they always cherish their special love by respecting each other as individuals, trusting each other as friends, and honoring each other as partners. For this we pray… Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us pray for all young single people who look forward to a vocation full of life and full of love. For this we pray...Lord hear our prayer.

Let us pray for all those recently born into God's family especially Ryan Hanson. For this we pray...Lord hear our prayer.

Let us pray for our loved ones who have died. May their memories live on in our hearts. May we find comfort in sharing our stories of them with each other and find peace in knowing that they are in the company of God. We especially remember: Joseph's Grandmother Celia, and Tricia's grandfather Albert. May they enjoy total fulfillment in eternal life. For this we pray…. Lord, hear our prayer.

Let us pray for our personal needs which we mention now in silence (pause). For this we pray...Lord hear our prayer.

This how we did it:
Let us pray for Karen and Sean, now beginning their life together, that they may have divine assistance at every moment, the constant support of friends, the rich blessing of children, a warm love reaching out to others, and good health until a ripe old age. For this we pray… Lord, hear our prayer.

I also added one for the Church:
Let us pray for our holy father on earth, Pope Benedict, all the bishops and the clergy everywhere. May they lead us to deeper faith in God and a stronger love for one another. For this we pray… Lord, hear our prayer.

Thats great! I was trying to choose one from the book, but I was liking parts of one and parts of another- I never even thought of making my own!!
