This past Vanlentine's Day FH had a Barber Shop Quartet come to the house and sing 2 love songs to me.

When we were looking at houses I really wanted an old victorian type with lots of cool details like glass doorknobs. But, an opportunity came up that we couldn't pass on and we ended up buying a 1940s cape (not that there is anything wrong with that, just not what I had always envisioned) and I was a bit bummed at first.

So for Christmas, my FH gave me enough glass doorknobs for every door in our house and I just thought that was the most thoughtful gift.

FH gave me a surprise bday party a couple of weeks ago...never would have imagined he would have done somthing like this especially with the wedding this year and all...

its not sentimental---but the best gift was my Kodak Easy Share digital camera and photo printer--cause i love taking pics and finally have a way to print them out myself at home!

hmmmm..... OK my first thought was his love... lol but that's WAAAAAAY too cheesy!!

second thought was of course engagement ring...

I really don't know, there are so many that rate at the same level...

Ok, this one sticks out... one Friday FH took a half day from work without telling me. It was on our 6 month anniversary. So I'm sitting at work minding my own business (I'm a receptionist at a law firm). It was right before my lunch hour and I look up to see him coming through the doors. I'm totally shocked because in my mind he's 45 minutes away at work in Newark. (we live in NJ) He left work early and sped up to my office to surprise me! He also had arranged lunch coverage for me ahead of time so that he could surprised me and take me out for lunch! Then he gave me beautiful pearl and diamond stud earrings that I had been wanting for years!

Such a sweetie!!

hmmm the best gift.....well there's a few that are memorable- pretty much all from when we first started dating (ya know while they still pay attention to what you like

first christmas- he bought me shoes some shirts and CD's......I just loved that it was some things he noticed me eyeing while we were shopping weeks earlier.

He gave me a Bulova watch once, and it wasn't for any holiday, birthday, or anniversary....so that was pretty awesome!

FH gave me diamond earrings on our 2nd Anniversary. I had been telling him that I was planning on buying them for myself upon graduating from Law School and passing the Bar Exam- but I never had the money when I did graduate and pass the Bar. He told me that no woman should buy their own diamond earrings!! He was so worried that they were smaller than I wanted, but they are perfect!! Sighhh... I heart my FH!

We were in Vegas at a trade show...and from there we were going to Arizona to visit his Dad for a week, or so I thought...so as we are checking in at the airport in Vegas, I find out we aren't spending a week with his Dad..but going to Hawaii instead! woohoo...he also booked us first class...he's given me lots of other great gifts but this was the biggest suprise he pulled off...he also proposed while in Hawaii.

The diamond stud earrings he surprised me with on our wedding day...he had my mom give them to me as I was getting ready and the videographer caught it all on camera

He gave me one as part of the proposal and the other one for a wedding gift! LOVE them both to DEATH!!

I think the best thing my FH gave to me was my very own song. He is the lead singer of a rock band, and one night at one of his shows at the Continental - he surprised me along with everyone else in the crowd with it. He made the announcement that this song was written for me his future wife and it's called 'My Everything'

I will always cherish it!

One of the sweetest was a wooden book that he made for me. It was pics of us being young till current... more like a story book... at the end it says... 'and they lived happily ever after'... which I can't wait to add a pic of us from our wedding.
Who knew when he made the book we would be getting married

nooooo! Don't feel sad! My FH is in your position in our relationship. It's soooooo hard to buy a gift for him. I honestly get so stressed out by it! He's very very very picky! Which is why I usually just give him little things here and there, like a smiley face balloon when he's had a rough day or a back rub. Maybe your FH is like me and just has a hard time shopping!

Maybe my FH feels a little bit the way you do, but he understands that he's really hard to buy for which takes the pressure off of me. Everything I bought for him this past Christmas that I was sure he would love, he ended up returning, because it wasn't the right size, or he didn't really like it. It's hard to shop for you picky people!

MY favorite gift was something small that FH gave me when we were first dating. It was really, really cold out and he had to leave for Florida the next day to spenc Christmas with his mom. He knows that my hands are always cold, so he bought we hand warmers to keep my hands warm while he was away. My other favorite gift was a day of beauty, which included maniceure/pedicute, haircut and then he took me out for a nice romantic dinner.
