I have TRIED to have patience, but I'm slowly losing it! RE: Cassarino Studios

Okay, wedding was 6/25/06. I brought pics for album to photographer in August (can't recall exact date). I was told 1 yr for design and album from date you bring pics in. Fine.

Had design done-made a few changes, back and forth and then gave final okay on 7/14. I received a phone call on 7/31 asking about making a small rearrangement on 2 pages. I called back on 8/2 and said 'do what you feel looks best' I was told, and this is a DIRECT quote 'I will do it and email the changes to you tonight to approve'


I understand that was only a few days ago, but since it took 17 days to get a response last time, I am afraid of how long THIS time will be.

I have had good experiences up until now. I was told 4 wks for proofs, got them in 3 wks. Was told 2 wks for prints (got 10- 8x10s w/ my pkg), got them in 1 wk. Service otherwise has been good.

It doesn't help that my dad asks me at least once a week 'Do you have the albums yet?'

Sorry, vent over! Just needed to get that out!!

I did not post company name in the original post, but now....I am. Cassarino Studios. I am posting it b/c I gave themt he benefit of the doubt and they dropped the ball. I called yesterday for an update, as I STILL had not rec'd the promised email. I was told 'You didn't receive it?' And it was sent again. I did get a follow-up call to make sure it was rec'd and was told the prints were ordered and it would then have to go to the binder, which would take 4-8 weeks. OKay WHY order prints, if I did not give final FINAL approval?!?!?! AND...the new email I got yesterday had a NEW photo in there, which we didn't approve and two of the EXACT SAME photo!!! THIS WAS WHY WE WERE DOING THIS FINAL EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

I am working on an email to them, which I told them I have had NOTHING bad to say until now, and that Im on LIW. NOTHING here is false or a lie, it is ALL true and I have emails to document the most recent events! I feel I have been MORE than understanding and am not on the phone every week with them. Honestly, the biggest reason I haven't called is I forget their hours and been a little busy with my almost 4 month old son! .

If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with a different photographer company.

I'd follow up tomorrow and say, I was told on the 2nd I'd be emailed stuff that night but never got it and want to confirm you have my correct information. Can you go there to see it in person?

They're closed on Sun and Mon.

I CAN go there, but had been difficult as I was Pregnant and now have a 3 month old.

Definitely call Tuesday then to tell them you never got it and want to make sure they have the right info.

yeah, i've heard not so nice things about them. funny thing is, they're a recommended vendor for my reception hall.

I have not posted much but I HAD to respond to this. I have been waiting 6 months to even view my mock up album. I was told 3-4 months and then told no they said 6 months. I was also told to look at my contract that this is what the contract says. I did. It does not give a timeline anywhere in the contract. I will be calling them today (yesterday was exactly 6 months). I am very tempted to file with bbb or even in small claims court but they have my only copy of the pictures and video.

I would not tell my worst enemy to use these people. They had no complaints on bbb when we booked them and now they have 2. Neither has been resolved.
