I love the invites on Dochelle.com...but lets face it.... $40-$48 PER INVITE is not going to happen!! I am thinking of re-creating one of them and I don't even know where to get started. Any suggestions on where to order stuff on line???

Did you all make the pocketfolds from scratch or order them pre-made. I've seen some websites that you can order them made already, and then DIY everything else.

If you made them, where did you get the paper? What measurements did you use?

I got my pocket folds from cardsandpockets.com. I get notes and calls all the time about how much people liked them

i'm looking right now for buckles.. someone just recently posted hers and she mentioned where she ordered the buckles from. fabriclucy or something liek that.. i understand it's cheaper in the city.. and ebay sells some.. they had some cute rhinestone heart buckles.. i'm going to get those..

i'm still looking for the presentation boxes that dochelles uses and then a piece of lace is all that would be missing.. the ribbon u can prob pick up from walmart, michaels or jo ann fabrics.

my pocketfolds i'm getting from cardsandpockets.com and the inserts i'm gonna cut down fom paper from lcipaper or paperpresentation. cards and pockets will send u sample mockups for $10 and u can pick u'r colors and style. the inserts didn't work for me because my printer wouldn't accept them. ugh. so that's my current status.. i'll let u know if i find any good paper.. oh.. i think someone mentioned that u can get the pocketfolds from cardsandpockets and for the designs in the corner i understand u can get a corner stampe from michaels!! HAVE FUN!

I got the black linen paper from Neenah Paper (neenahpaper.com)

my pocketfolds were 18.5' inches long by 6' wide I had to cut out the triangle on the bottom the pocket and the pocket flap is 4 inches. The opening flap is about 2.5' When folded it is a 6 inch square.

I went to MIchaels and used yellow cardstock to mount the invite on. that was cut to a 5.5'square allowing .25' of black to show. The white invite card was printed and measures 5x5 allowing .25' of yellow to show.

the insert cards start at 5.75'x 5.5' and decrease in intervals of .75'. with the smallest card, the RSVP as 3.5x5' so it will fit in a standard 4 bar envelope.

I have a template if you would like, however it is in publisher form and may be complicated to read. FM me for more. :)

Here's mine, I did all the research and then went to a friend she helped me design it, and then we ordered all the stuff, she printed them all on her home computer and I have been putting them all together ever since.. I also did the envelopes myself, I downloaded a scroll, thanks to enjef and then typed every single envelope..we took the pic at the beach then i lightened it in photoshop and printed it on vellum paper
