Re: wedding sneakers

I have seen schekers that are white and silver. There many brands that have white sneakers and you probably can decorate them. I am going to try and wear my shoes for most of the wedding but I did purchase the white satin isotoner ballet slippers. It does fit me since I am a dancer and a dance teacher.

Re: wedding sneakers

Sneakers are totally fun! I didn't change into them until the garter removal though- I personally just walk differently in heels so I waited til that point. I also wanted my Yankee sneakers to be a surprise for Brett during the garter removal! Can I just tell you - I could NOT wait to get on those sneakers- my feet were KILLING me. Putting these on was such a relief!!

Go with what makes you comfortable! There are plenty of 'wedding sneakers' out there. I would imagine there have to be really cool and creative ebay sellers who make 'em.

Re: wedding sneakers

I am going to change into sneakers during the reception for comfort reasons as well.
Sketchers sells slip on sneakers that are white with glitter on them. I saw them at Tanger in Riverhead.
I know my girls are going to get ballet shoes from Payless for the reception!

Re: wedding sneakers

thanks everyone!! what great ideas everyone had! yea i might try sketchers myself, maybe put satin lace through them to dress it up a litte. some of the websites for wedding sneakers were too much lace and flowers. i want something simple. i cant wait to be comfortable!!! i cannot walk in heels, why risk falling . i happen to be clumsy...haha
