Leonard's Wedding!!
Okay first of all before I get into talking abotu Leonard's. . .I really love Polish people!! The entire wedding was Polish, there were only 8 non-Polish speaking people there! THe entire ceremony AND reception was entirely in Polish. So, when the music started I expected to see the typical: girls dancing in a circle, with maybe a few guys here or there dancing. but NO every single guy and girl got up and danced the ENTIRE night!! they knew these gorgeous slow dances and then for the Polish pop songs they knew how to really dance!! It looked choreographed! It was the coolest thing to watch!! FH and I don't dance but we were so entertained by watching how everyone was having such a great time!
ALso, they had bottles of liquor on the table which was pretty awesome too! LOL
AND they had a little song for everything! they did this whole chant thing for shots and to make hte bride and groom kiss - lots of singing!!
AND I was never a fan of choreographed first dances BUT my friends REALLY pulled it off!! I always fear that it will take away from the intimacy of the moment and become about remember the dance steps - but their eyes were LOCKED the whole time and it was TRULY beautiful!!
Ok so on to Leonard's!
The food was really good and so was the service! The atmosphere is amazing!! on the website it looks a little too much but in person it is beautiful!!
Oh and another cute thing they did was when they cut the cake. . . the bride fed the groom THEN the groom had a HUGE spoon hidden in his tux and he whipped it out to feed her a huge piece! LOL it was cute and very funny!
Oh yeah they almost made us into wedding crashers!! LOL we valeted the car and then went in a side entrance where they were cleaning up a cocktail hour. . . so, someone comes up to us and tells us that we missed the CH but to go on to the reception. So i kind of freaked bc we were only ten minutes late! LOL THEN another bride was named Anna ( like our bride) so they sent me to the wrong room. . .but finally we followed the people that were speaking Polish and we found it!!
One tip: I would put La Dolce Vita somewhere on the invitation. I know that my FH almost turned around and left bc he kept seeing La Dolce VIta on everything and he thought we were at the wrong place! and I heard a few people asking if it was the right place!
Anyway, I can't believe that my coworker is married - she looked A M A Z I N G! and she looked like she was having the most fun out of everyone!! I love seeing a happy and in love bride and groom!
Oh yeah one more tip!! If you are having those CPs with the long tapered candles on a candlebra but also has like a 'ball' of flowers btw the candles - please be aware that they have to put out the candles after a little while so that the flame doesnt reach the flowers!!! it still looked amazing but it was a shame they couldnt keep them lit!
Here are some pics - I am not posting close ups of the B&G bc I didn't ask her if I could yet. . . maybe when she gets back from her HM!

Re: Leonard's Wedding!!
You looked beautiful! I have to ask though....did they do anything special when they first came into the reception hall? I know there is a Polish tradition where both parents meet them when they walk in and they give them some wine, bread and salt and they each have a meaning.
