Wedding Cameras Question (With added question about kodak wedding pack!
ok, so I went to party city for the cameras this weekend and they wanted 13 dollars for a white camera with sayings. I don't want the pics to have sayings I want the normal white bridal cameras. we don't want to buy them from ebay. Some people suggested costcos. Before I drag over there are they wedding cameras ie white? Or are they the normal yellow kodak boxes??? Anyone find black and white cameras for weddings somewhere other than online on ebay? Thanks. Please see post below about the kodak wedding pack. Anyone use these???? Thanks Are these the bad ones that everyone talks about??

Re: Wedding Cameras Question
I bought the Kodak ones (yellow & black)...the white ones are not as good as the ones sold in the Kodak/Fuji packaging. If you want, you can wrap them with a little paper like Martha Stewart did. I wrapped a ribbon around mine with a tag that had a few directions and matched the table.

Re: Wedding Cameras Question
Similar to sonic, I also wrapped my Kodak yellow camera. I bought these maroon/wine colored bags (in Michaels) that matched my theme and tied it with an ivory ribbon and tag. In my proof post, you can kind of see it in one of the pictures.

Re: Wedding Cameras Question
I bought mine at Walmart for $4.44 a piece. I didn't care about the outside of it, I cared more about the brand since it was Kodak. I have said it before, I went to a wedding with a no name brand camera and the flash didn't work. Judging from the great table camera shots I got, Kodak was a good choice!

I just found a kodak wedding pack where the cameras are not white, they are yellow but have pics of roses on it. There are four cameras in the pack and it says kodak, anyone know anything about these????? It is called the kodak wedding pack. Thanks

Re: Wedding Cameras Question
I bought the white wedding cameras and I'm so sorry I did. They stunk. Some of them didn't have a working flash and the ones that worked took bad pictures. They came out too dark. I want to warn everyone so they don't have a problem with them too.

Re: Wedding Cameras Question (With added question about kodak wedding pack!
I just did a search and found the kodak weding pack at amazon.com for $29.99. That was the cheapest. I don't know how good they are but I would assume they are good since they are Kodak.

Re: Wedding Cameras Question (With added question about kodak wedding pack!
I assumed that they would be good too. I found that deal/price also at Amazon. They are not white but they have roses on it so it is still appropriate. I assume that they are new and not refurbished. I was wondering if anyone used these before or if they are new because I would imagine someone would have mentioned these here if they had used them!

Re: Wedding Cameras Question (With added question about kodak wedding pack!
yeah, but it's worth it IMO. The cheaper ones don't work as well. It'll cost the same to develop them, and getting (more) good pictures will even out the cost difference between the two, at least that's how I figure it. I'd gladly spend more if I knew I'd get better pictures. My friend had those cheap ones at her wedding this past summer, and I wouldn't be exaggerating to say she got maybe one good picture per table. So, it was a total waste of money, buying the cameras, and developing them.
