I don't think so, but I don't know for sure.

Online is actually a great deal because you don't have to pay tax (unless you're in TX).

you can't buy them from a store...you have to get them on dell.com

We're very pleased. How quick they come depends on what components you put together. Ours came in two weeks.

We got a laptop, not sure what you're looking for, but you can save big going with the pre-configured models (different from re-furbished models). We got a $399 rebate, and got more for our money than any laptop we saw in the stores.

There was a post about this a few weeks ago. Someone asked what PC they would recommend and a majority of the answeres were Dell.

I have two and I haven't had any problems with them.

The service is good, my order came in quick and on time....technical support is ok but I work in an IS department so I do most of my troubleshooting on my own. The one time I did have a problem, they were able to help me.

I think their prices are fair....check out their site. They usually offer specials...

Dell only sells online. The website changes the specials and deals pretty frequently...so keep your eyes open. (Sometimes free shipping, printer or dvd or more than one.) I am an IT person and Dell is the first computer I would recommend to someone for price and value. I have a Dell at home and all my PC's in my office are also Dell. I have spent many years working with Dell service and support and they are fine.

PS Many companies that are Dell customers (even small customers of Dell) get corporate discounts 10-15% off..so ask friends and family. I order them for all of my family to pick up on savings!

Buy them online at dell.com we use order our office PC's that way.

we go our from dell.com. there were no problems with the order or shipment.

I also saw them on one of the home shopping channels. apparently they have special service numbers and areas on the dell website. i dont know about the prices though.

i know someone that ordered a computer from a shopping channel and they didnt have any troubl either.

Just got my new Dell last week...I love it! Much better than my old HP. No problem with anything. I ordered online on Monday and it arrived on Saturday!

I just ordered a system for my 11 year old daughter.

We're getting a complete system w/ flat screen and basic configuration for under $1,000.

i ordered from dell.com on 11/14 and haven't recieved it as of today.

I'll let you know what happens.
