who is planning on doing the newlywed chop?

I am soo cutting this mop off the first chance I get. I love my hair long, but it really is a pain and while I am teaching it is always up in a pony tail or bun anyway.

I plan on donating my hair to locks for love, they will probably get like 14 inches out of me.

Who else is considering the chop?

i go through phases with my hair..

i let it grow out until it annoys me.. and then i cut it off to above the shoulders..

chances are by the time the wedding comes, I will be itching to cut it off..

i am also going to look into donating to locks of love.

not me, my hair has always been long, so i plan on keep it that way until it turns old and gray

im not sure yet. its just above my chest and still growing. i hope its below my breast by the time the wedding comes. after that, not sure. i havent had long hair in so long. i might keep it long for a little bit.

my sister donated hair to LOL too. its a great thing. your hair isnt dyed is it?? i dont think they take color treated hair.

FH asked me to never cut my hair shorter than my shoulders LOL he loves long hair so i wont be cutting it off BUT i want to add some fun shorter layers. . . I have it all one length now so it will be easier to put for the wedding. It is about two inches below my boobs right now I dont think I would cut much off.

fh says if i ever cut my hair short short he will leave me and honestly i don't blame him... i don't want to look like a soccer mom. I do like a nice bob though or something stylish but I doubt I will do that anytime soon.

ha ha ha ha ha ha that is what FH says - both of our moms have super short hair and i already look like MY mom so he is like please no short hair and no mom jeans and never ask me for a minivan

I just donated mine...they take color treated hair as long as it's not bleached.

They also take shorter donations of 6-10 inches which they sell for profit.

Well, not really the typical newlywed chop, but shorter layers.

Before we were engaged I had the best haircut of my life, but I thought the layers were too short for the wedding so I am growing it out.
