Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself!

Hi Ladies! I just wanted to say a quick hello as I registered for the sight last month when I got engaged, but have just gotten down to the planning details. We are looking to have an October '08 wedding. I am currently in the hunt for a reception hall, where I also plan on having my ceremony. So far I have looked at Chateau La Mer and am going to go and see Giorgio's as well as possibly Vineyard Caterers, Windows on the Lake and Woodbury Country Club. Does anyone have any insight on any of these places that they might have visited or attended an event there?

Congrats and Welcome! I booked CLM because of the location, the tasting and our qty of guests. The best bet is to check the reviews section for past brides input.

I LOVED Giorgio's!!! Mr. Giorgio is the most wonderful man!!! in the end, we found someplace with a better price, that wasn't quite so far away from us, that we liked just as much, but it was DEFINITELY close!!! Welcome!!!!

Welcome and congrats. The best thing to do is any hall that interests you - just do a search and I guarantee you will find tons of reviews on here. There is soo much info on this site, it's crazy. Good luck planning.

Of the places you listed I have seen Windows on the Lake and Woodbury Country Club. Windows on the Lake is nice because you are the only event there but the day we came to see the place there was a wedding going on and they made us come through the front door and walk past all the guest in our jeans

. I would not be happy if that happened during my wedding. Woodbury Country Club was nice but there were no Saturdays left for the summer of 08 when we looked.

I booked CLM for October simply because the view at sunset will be AMAZING!!!! The food is yummy and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Check out some of the Bride's Reviews and read up about some of the places your interested it.
