New to the board - Just want to say Hi :) (LONG)

We just got engaged 7/28/07 (our first vacation) & we already have a date set 4/19/08
~ Our reception site is Chateau Briand!

I've never been to a wedding there before but heard that it's great. Anyone have any experience there?

I have the church, reception, dress (just ordered it on Wednesday), videographer & photographer, & I'm 99% sure about the Band but we are going to see them on 9/22

I ordered my save the date magnets (still waiting for them) :)

Since we're having a Spring wedding, I decided to have a Green-Pink theme --- I am looking for green dresses but can't find anything I like ~ HELP! Did anyone see any nice green dresses???

I also need limos & flowers & decide on a Honeymoon location....
We're debating between Greece~ Hawaii~ Bora Bora/Tahiti/Fiji~Aruba~ Turks&Caicos............ I Have nooo clue ~ they all look beautiful!

Any advice is helpful as I am the first one getting married out of all my family & friends

Who is the band you're thinking of?

Chateu Briand is really nice, I've been there and also the Scotto Bros., who own it, are great!

I'd recommend Aruba SO strongly - FH and I have traveled all over Mexico and the Caribbean and Aruba is our FAVORITE!

if you want a band...ADA is amazing
limos go with royalty
flowers..get pedestals.
and photographer..i have one and he is int eh bronx...realllllllly good...Martone bros.

They're called Viva Band ~ it's a Polish-American Band ~ We're Polish & 95% of our guests are Polish as well... So I'm sure you haven't heard of it :)

Yes Scotto Brothers are great - From everything I heard!

This site will have all your answers. YOu theme colors are very pretty. I would look into Jim Hjelm for dresses. Pedestals for flowers and Greece for your honeymoon, I go every year and cant stay away.

not sure who your preffered band is but also check into www.Bodyandsoulband.net. If my budget could allow me to afford a band...I would have loved to have them...but i hafta cut down on costs so dj it is (not that I'm disappointed...I'm kinda indifferent...as long as theyre good and professional i don't care which i have)

Hi Ilona -

We just got their CD last week and we like them plus 15 other people recommended them!
We are going to meet with them in 2 weeks so I will let you know. But I'm pretty sure we're going to use them.

the website is ok but his pictures in the albums are beautiful.
There are so many different photographers & videographers ~~ all different price ranges. Are you looking for a Polish Photographer??? I can give you other names if you want.
