Like everyone says it was the best day of my life! I married the love of my life, my soulmate and nothing mattered that day. I didn’t believe that until my wedding. I didn’t care about anything! Everything went perfect. There were a couple of little things but besides that it was the best day of my life! I couldn’t believe how calm I was the night before and the day of, I was actually freaking people out because I was so calm. I just thought there wasn’t anything to be nervous about I was marrying my love.

Weather- A+


The day before it was pouring and I was so scared because the weather kept saying thunderstorms, then scattered thunderstorms, then pouring rain. So when I woke up in the morning and saw that it was beyond gorgeous outside I was ecstatic. Not only was it beautiful but it wasn’t even humid. So the weather was perfect, I couldn’t of asked for a better day.

I cannot say how much I loved this website and wanted to say thank you for everything. My stepsister in law told me about this site and I was sooo glad she did. My Parents
The wedding wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for my loving and wonderful parents. My mother helped with everything. If she wasn’t so organized, I don’t know what I would have done. Bridal Shower – Carltun on the Park- The Oak Room

My mom, and my MOH(sister) planned the whole day. It was a complete surprise. There were so many people there I couldn’t believe it. It was like a mini wedding. There were about 80 women there. The Oak Room was a great place. I got soo may presents, it took the whole 4 hours to open everything. I was very lucky to have such amazing family. The food and service was great. My shower went so fast and I has a great time. My MOH and my mom did any amazing job!!!

Rehersal Dinner- The Woodlands At

My MIL put this together. The woodlands was a great place. We had the room upstairs all the way to the left. It was a nice day so we were able to go out in the balcony to just hang out. The food was great and everything my MIL put together came out great. I wanted to get DH a groom’s cake but I know my MIL had an idea so I told her she should definitely do it. Well I was glad I did she got 2 cakes from Dortoni Bakery. One was a tuxedo and one was a wedding dress. They were so pretty I loved them. Over all everything was great the food and the service.





MakeUp - Anne DeMarco- Attttt

I found Anne on Liweddings and I am so glad I did. She is the most amazing artist and the sweetest person you will every meet. When I went for my trial I knew right there that she was doing my makeup and I booked her right there. I couldn’t believe how great all the girls and myself looked. We all kept getting compliments all night on how great we looked and how long the makeup lasted. She was a bit expensive but that to me was worth it. I didn’t mind spending the money, I was at ease that the girls and I would look gorgeous. Anne and Suzanne the other makeup artist that came to help did Me, MOB, GOB, AOB and all the girls (so she did about 8-9 girls) and she finished pretty quickly. She came early and made me feel at ease when I was getting nervous. As my sister(MOH) said I looked like Jasmine. ? I was so happy with them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.



Hair- Nicole D’Angio- A ttttt www.nicoledangio.com

Well I found Nicole also on this website. I am so happy I did. I got really lucky with Nicole and my makeup because both did amazing jobs. Nicole is so talented at what she does. When I first met her at my trial I was at ease with her. She made me feel so comfortable and I knew she would do an amazing job. I completely trusted Nicole. I went in there with pictures and left with a different style that I absolutely LOVED! I also felt really comfortable with her because I found out that she used to work in the salon that I worked at and she trained my hairstylist whom I love. I said if she trained her then I didn’t even have to think about it so I booked her right there. Well the day came and she exceeded my expectations. It was her and another hairstylist names Danielle. All my girls looked absolutely gorgeous. They all loved their hair! I was so happy with her and I couldn’t have asked for a better person. She is the sweetest person and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.













Church- St. James RCC in Seaford

Well before the wedding day I wasn’t very happy with my church. They were awful and rude and I got yelled at from them a few times. Yes you heard me I got yelled at BY THE CHURCH.(Never thought that would happen. Anyway, they just were very difficult to dal with and I wasn’t allowed to do anything. Like use petal cones, aisle runner or flowers on the alter. Fine I was upset but I got over it because they kept threatening me if I did any of that they would stop the wedding. =0 I couldn’t believe that would happen but I agreed and moved on . Well lo and behold the day of the wedding as I am waiting to go I find out there is an aisle runner on the floor and flowers on the alter. I couldn’t believe it I was completely floored. We also used petal cones because I wanted it and they couldn’t do anything once we were married. The day of the wedding I was very happy and the church came through. Everything was beautiful and the mass was so amazing. In the end I wouldn’t of cared if any of those stuff were done because I married the love of my life and nothing else mattered.

The reason I gave them an A not an At was because I didn’t like that they didn’t label anything and they forgot to give us a bouquet for the blessed mother. So when we finally realized it was missing we made my MOH’s (sister) boyfriend go to my house and pick some flowers in my backyard. Besides that everything was beautiful. My church flowers came out gorgeous and our centerpieces were outstanding. Our bouquets were beautiful as well. When I first saw my bouquet I almost started crying because everything started to become so real. It was so pretty and exactly what I wanted. The flowers were fresh and they did exactly what we wanted. I was very very happy with them. The prices were also very reasonable and a lot better then the 10 other places we went. The came to the house early and then dropped the rest off at the church.

We got all this for really cheap and I couldn’t have been more happy. Everything looked like I spend thousands of dollars. I would recommend them to anyone. I was very happy and would use them in the future for anything.






PROLINE STUDIOS- Photographer & Videographer Attt www.prolinestudios.com

They did are engagement pictures first and those came out amazing so I had no worries about them.The photographer was really great. I had one photojournalist, 1 regular photographer and then 1 videographer. The photographers name was Anthony. Friends and a lot of other people who has used him recommended him to us. He was really great. I barely saw him throughout the night, which was a good thing. I wasn’t hounded to stop and take pictures I got to enjoy my night. I was really happy because I told him that I wanted to go to my cocktail and he made sure that we got to go and we did. We go to say hello to half the people at the wedding. Out plan was to go to the cocktail hour and thank everyone for coming then so we can enjoy the reception. It worked out really well. He did everything I wanted him to do. The only thing that bothered me was he was a half hour late to my house before the mass because he forgot the most important big battery for the camera so he had to turn around and get it. I had to stay in my sweats to wait for him, I was going crazy because I just wanted to get ready. So I ended up dressing the flower girl and my grandmother. Everyone couldn’t understand how calm I was that I was helping everyone. But over all I was very happy with all 3 gentlemen. We went to Jones Beach field 2 to take pictures and all I needed was a permit ($50) which they didn’t even ask for. But those pictures came out so great. I was worried about the weather but it was perfect by the beach. We had so much fun!! I can’t wait to see what the photojournalist did because he was taking some really good pics. They were pretty well priced because I got the package for video and photo. I also brought my friend there so we got extra stuff because of them, which was a nice surprise. Definitely a place where everyone could go to get good pricing.


LEONARDS OF GREAT NECK- A ttttttttttttt

I just first want to say that they were absolutely amazing. They did such a great job and I was soo happy with everything! When we first got engaged we started going around to places and we couldn’t find any place we liked until we got to Leonard’s. When we walked around we knew that this was the place we were going to get married. We originally said we wanted to find a place that only had 1 wedding at a time but when we went there we forgot about that. Since it was one of the first places we went everyone kept saying you have to keep looking don’t just pick the first place you see. So we said ok and we went to 10 different places. Every place we went to didn’t measure up to Leonards. So that’s when we decided that was the place we wanted. We met with Maurizio he was our Banquet Manager. After we booked them I found liweddings. On here I found that some people had some problems with them and I started getting worried. So when it was time to it down to give our deposit that was when we started voicing our concerns. Maurizio understood and kept promising us that everything would be ok. So then we felt better, well months later my parents went to a wedding there and said that it was just ok and that some people didn’t get there food until about 20 minutes after some and some other issues like bad Matri’D. Well that bothered me so when it was time to sit down with Ian, the guy who finalized everything like the menu, we spoke with him about everything and we told him we don’t want any of that happening to us. Well they gave us some things that we wanted that they no longer carried there to make us feel more comfortable. Well I ended up going to a wedding there 2 weeks before our wedding which was perfect I could see for myself how they do things. The wedding was a lot smaller then mine so they didn’t have the same food or anything but everything was good. There was just a couple of small things but other then that everything was good. So I felt a lot better. Well that brings us to the day of….. We got to Leonard’s and our Matri’D Julie greeted us at the entrance with my 2 bridal attendants(cant remember their names, sorry) Well all I have to say was Leonards did an amazing job. The concerns I had went away. I was first concerned about the Matri’D not doing anything but Julie was there and soo great, she was always around making sure we were okay and our guests were okay. She made sure we ate food and was there step by step. Maurizio was also there because he knew we had concerns prior to the wedding and he made sure everything ran smoothly and they did. My bridal attendants where so great they were always there asking if I needed anything. My other concern was seeing the other brides well I did not see one my Matri’D made sure that brides never saw each other and I never did so I was very happy about that. So Leonard’s girls of you have any concerns make sure you talk to your Banquet Manager. I was concerned and I spoke to them and they made sure everything was perfect and it was. You do not have to worry about them! I cant say anything else but it was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!














BAND- Voices Band Atttt

The band was absolutely amazing. Everyone was dancing all night. I found this band from my Italian family and friends. Its somewhat of an Italian band but they also work with KTU-103.5 radio station and do all the mixing of songs. Well when I met them I loved them and booked them right away. I knew they would be amazing. Well the day came and they turned out to be better then good. The music sounded great and everyone was up and dancing the whole night. I would recommend them to anyone.





VIDEO MONTAGE- Satisfaction Guaranteed- At

They are located in Mineola. They were referred to me from the band. They made a video montage of pictures of me and DH. I just gave them songs and that was it. They weren’t that expensive. We also had plasma tv’s so they also went around and took pictures the out the night of everyone. It was great I got more pictures from my wedding from it. They showed it on the tv’s throughout the night so that was cool. They did a great job!













WEDDING BANDS- Tri County- Gold Heart Jewelers B

We got our wedding bands he because my parents have used them since I was born so I figured they were going to give us a good price. Well they did do a great job and I love our rings but I wasn’t really happy with them.




TUXEDOS- Town & Country on Wantagh Ave A

We found this place because when we went to Primo they shared the place with them. So we decided to use them. They did a great job and they were pretty reasonably priced. They were very helpful. I was very happy with them.





WEDDING DRESS- The Wedding Salon of Manhasset Att

I bought my Melissa Sweet- “Lia” dress from the wedding salon. When I put this dress on I knew that it was the one. I LOVED IT!!!! Nuvia was the sales girl that helped me. She was so sweet and helpful and honest. She told me no, when she didn’t like it and I needed that. Everyone in the salon was so helpful and sweet. I also bought my headpiece there. Dionne was the woman that made my headpiece for me. She made the piece from scratch. When I first saw it I was floored it came out so good. She did an outstanding job. I had 3 fitting and each time I had to take it in more. I didn’t mean to lose weight but every time I went it was big. I was scared the day of it was going to be big. I made sure I was eating ice cream and cookies (?) The second fitting I almost fainted because it was early in the morning, I hadn’t eaten anything and I locked my knees for an hour. I got really sick and had a grey’s anatomy moment and had to take my dress off fast. The seamstress gave me a muffin and water and I felt better. Make sure you eat something before you go for your fitting. I learned from the mistake. Haha Anyway overall everything was great I was very happy with them.

BM DRESSES- Bridal Reflections- Jim Hjelm A

I went to Bridal Reflections because they had the designer that I wanted. I brought my 2 sisters and made them try on all these dresses and narrowed it down to about 2 or 3. At that point I got all my girls together and brought them there to try on the one that I picked out to make sure it looked good and everyone felt comfortable in the dress. Once they all loved that dress I decided to pick that one dress and forget about the thers. All the girls looked amazing it the dress and they all loved it so that’s all that matter. My color scheme was originally going to be purple but when I found this particular dress they didn’t have a very pretty purple so that is when we went with the bisque and mango sash and I was so glad I did. They all looked amazing and it was great colors to have in the summer.

FLOWERGIRL DRESS- Sweet Beginnings

My flower girl lives in Arizona so I had to wait until she came to NY to have her try on the dress and make sure she liked the one I picked out. She ended up loving her dress just as much as I did. So they ended up ordering the dress and sizing it in Arizona. Her dress was a sweet beginnings dress. I saw it in a magazine and it ended up also being at Bridal Reflections so it worked out good.



MOB – Meika in Woodbury

My mother found her dress in Meika the store in the Woodbury Commons. This dress was amazing and gorgeous. She got so many compliments on her dress. It was not a cheap dress but it was gorgeous so she got that one. They did a great job.




MOG – Made just for her

She went to a place that I don’t know the name of but it came out gorgeous. She had to pick out everything like the color, beading, how she wanted it to look. It was so cool !

I found this website because a lot of the brides on liweddings were using them. SO I decided to give them a try well they did a great job and I got the garter pretty fast. Definitely a great touch. DH LOVED IT!!!



CAKE TOPPER- My Shorty www.My-Shorty.com

I wanted something different for my cake topper and I was looking around and finally found bobble heads. I thought that was perfect. It was our personality( silly and playful). I was so excited. I had to do all the paperwork online. I sent them a few pics of us then had to tell them hair color, eyes and what we wanted to wear and in a few weeks in was done. When it came to my house it came out perfect. It actually looked like him and I. It was perfect! It was a little pricey but they were the cheapest I found that were actually good quality bobble heads. Definitely a great touch!










SHOES – Varone’s Shoes in Sayville

Varone’s was the where I found my shoes the cheapest. Anywhere I could safe I did. I loved these shoes they were perfect for me. They were comfortable too.

DIY PROJECTS:

Card Box- It took us 3 months to do because we took our time (haha) DH hates projects like this so we had to do a little at a time. I didn’t find this projects as easy as the other girls on here. Haha I’m not that talented!
Menus- Very easy to do. Just bought paper from staples.
Bathroom Baskets – My mother did this project.
OOT Boxes – I bought labels online and kind of stole wording from some girls on here. Sorry
Table Numbers- I can’s take any credit for these. PETEY’SBRIDE did them all. IT took her a half hour and would have taken me about 1 month. SO I am very grateful to her for that. Thank you sweetie so much!!!!! She did 25 pictures of my dog with table #’s on it. I LOVED THEM THEY CAME OUT GREAT!!!!
Placecard boxes – Bought from MIL place and had to put them together and but M & M’s in them as well as bow them like Tiffany boxes.
Programs – Very easy also. Was done on the computer. Paper from staples
Water Bottles- Mother bought the labels and we had to tape it to 200 boxes
Unity Candle- Not a DIY just something I bought from online. It was “Pretty as a Picture”.









GIFTS FOR BRIDAL PARTY

For the girls I went a little over board. I love buying gifts for people so I just kept buying. I bought them their jewelry from CJB Designs. I couldn’t find the type of jewelry that I wanted anywhere. I wanted to get something that they would actually wear again. So I actually found Courtney on liweddings and asked her if she could do this for me. Well she did some research and came back to me. Well she found exactly what I wanted I was so happy. I was being a little annoying but she was so patient and sweet. She did an amazing job and sent them to me pretty quick. I would recommend her to anyone I was very happy with everything she did. I also got them a candle that said “Thank You for being my BM or MOH”. They came out cute I got them from Exclusively Weddings. I also got them Old Navy Flip Flops, their parasols for the pictures, a makeup bag with all different things it that they can use the day of like deodorant, clips, makeup remover, tide stick and etc. I also got them a beach bag that was monogrammed from Ballard Designs. Those came out great as well. My MOH (sister) I got a few more things. I got her a champagne glass with “MOH” written on it from Exclusively Wedding, a book that I made of pics of me and her from when we were kids to now, a gc for manicures and pedicures, and a gc to the Red Door Spa. Well that was all I got them!
When it was up to DH to get gifts for the GM he took forever to go and get something. It was like pulling teeth with him. So finally he decided to get the Reef’s with the flask in it. We bought them in Nordstrom they actually sold them the cheapest. The guys thought were so cool. DH also brought them a round a golf.


HOTEL – Homewood Suites in Plainview B

The hotel was the cheapest hotel we found and it was very nice. We had a shuttle bringing the OOT guests back and forth so they didn’t have to drive. It wasn’t the greatest hotel to deal with but it was reasonably price. We also did a brunch the next day for the OOT guests which was nice but that was extra money.
