Ladies, please stop the fighting. Especially on a day like today!
Seriously - come on. Who cares at this point? We all have different opinons, just let it go.Let's remember what today represents and forget this nonsense.

Seriously - come on. Who cares at this point? We all have different opinons, just let it go.
Let's remember what today represents and forget this nonsense.
I am bumping this post...people need to read this, calm down and like you said Ev, honor and respect the memory of those Americans we lost on 9/11.
I posted this on 07, and I need people to read and think about this:
I want to tell everyone about an article I read a while back in Glamour, about 6 women who lost people in 9/11-Two of those women were brides like us, whose fiances perished in the Towers. One girl was to marry a few weeks after. She was on the phone with her FH and the phone went dead. (His body was never recovered)
Please remind yourselves that there is nothing worse than this, and tell your loved ones every day that you love them, because with life, you never know when it is the last time you will be able to. I wish everyone on here a long happy healthy life and marriage-but please don't forget 9/11 and the lessons we should learn-don't hold grudges, don't stay angry, and remind your FH/DH/DW/FW-whomever, that you love them!
Please, for one day, and if possible, for the future, think about it-do we really need to jump down someone's throat? Do we need to perpetuate intolerance and hate among our wedding community? THINK ABOUT IT
Respect each other and you will respect the memories of all of those men and women who lost their life on this very day 6 years ago-the enemy is the terrorists who hate us, not each other! Even if we are a small population of all Americans, perpetuating hate and venom only makes the terrorist's job easier and says that all of those who died did so in vain.
One last observation everyone should think about before making another hurtful post-it is sad that there are more responses and pages of responses to drama related posts than to those posts meant to remember 9/11
I ask that everyone thinks and let bygones by bygones

Re: Ladies, please stop the fighting. Especially on a day like today!
i think maybe people rather laugh at ridiculousness (spelling ? lol) than get all emotional with posting about 9/11......maybe that is why not so many 9/11 posts/responses.....it was bad for a lot of us and i think some people like myself don't need it to be the anniversary to think about it bc we think about it everyday......<3

I understand what you are saying-what we are saying is just be nice to each other! Doesn't mean that you have to read all day about 9/11-all we ask is just be courteous!
to you too!

That is how I feel. That day is burned into my memory forever and I just can't think about it. Not with my brother being overseas. I avoid talking about it as it upsets me. Sorry if that sounds selfish.

First-thank you to your brave brother who is fighting for our freedom..prayers for his safe return
And I completely understand how you feel-the point of what we were saying is that people should stop attacking each other and being mean
