Autumn theme

Ok so you all know that I am getting married at the very, very end of August..... Well I love the fall but, couldnt afford those prices, so do you think it would be weird if I did a fall color theme for my wedding?

I love bright colors and don't mind doing it for my wedding but, I also would love doing brown, creme/ivory, coffee color and add burnt orange. I would love to add fake leaves around my centerpieces as well. I would still use daisies and all but just change the colors.

I'm sure you can make it work. Cream and brown are still pretty light colors and the burnt orange will create a warm tone. I think it will all go together

Nothing is wrong with that. Are you doing shades of oranges and reds.

There is nothing wrong with that, my friend is getting married next year, august 2nd and her colors are burnt orange and ivory.

You're really at the end of August so why not? Autumn colors are so beautiful, but then again I'm kind of biased!

I am a fall baby and I just loveeeee the fall and everyting with it. If I could of had my wedding in October I would have but, !!! So I was thinking last night that why can't I, I know it might be hot but, it is on the water so it can also be breezy. We booked 2 yrs exactly to the day and it was cold down there. I wanted to add leaves on some tables and into the flower theme as well. Now I am getting more excited!!!! Thanks ladies!!!

when i think of august i think of oranges and browns and colors that would be kinda fall ish....it deff could work

I hate the be the 1 that goes against the concensus here but I dont think using leaves around the centerpeices wouldnt look right.... I know I am still in summer mode until after labor day so personally, i wouldnt go in that direction... but the burnt orange looks fine for summer

Its ok that is why I was asking, I want to know peoples opinions. But the more I think about it the more I love it. I am doing the colors but, not sure what I am doing if I do leaves on the table but, hopefully something with those colors.
