Does your ring hit into things?

My e-ring is very high set and bangs into everything, especially at work. It makes me very nervous. Not sure if it is ok of if my prongs will come flying off. Does this happen to anyone else?

all the time!! Sometimes I even turn it upside down if it really keeps hitting things, because I'm so afraid its just going to pop out, glad I'm not the only one!

same here.. i'm always turning it upside down.. i'm sure one day i'm gonna see my diamond go flying!

FH gets mad when I tell him, but I get scared and the ring is sometimes in the way. I love the setting and it makes the whole ring so I don't want to change it. I have had it less than a year and am nervous it's not going to survive.

It bangs into things all the time, every time I do it (in front of FH) he says, you crashed my car! He bought me the ring instead of buying himself a new car

Oh no! FH always blames it on me being clumsy. I am very clumsy, but banging the ring into things has nothing to do with that.

Alllllllll the time!! Everyday i'll hit it on something and i'm like 'oh no!!' and I quadruple check to make sure everything is still in place lol also when i'm wearing jeans and i put my hand in my pocket it ALWAYS gets caught. I freak out

Me too! I also have this fear that the stone will just fall out. It is actually quite secure, but i always brush my finger over it just to make sure.

Plus my ring is a little bit looser when it is colder out, so I when I wash my hands in the sink I hold them upward so it doesn't fall down the drain.

I don't even have a high setting, but I still knock it into everything!

yesss. all the time and i get soo nervous. i dont want to scratch it or loosen the diamonds !

it happens all the time, even when i'm trying to be careful. it's now part of your hand, it's natural it'll hit into things.

i purposely wore a ring on that finger to get used it, so i wouldnt bang my e-ring.....i always knew that i wanted a very high setting......i used to bang my old ring all the time! once so hard it moved in the setting.......so once i got my ering i became EXTRA careful.....once in awhile it does hit something, its impossible to avoid completely, but im much more aware of it - and like i said I am very very careful - and I dont wear it to bed, when i shower, when i cook, when i clean, work out......just to be safe!

who are you tellling! If FH says one more time that i'm wearing his car on my hand I hit mine all the time, I get so nervous about it it makes no sense

all the time....i work in the lab and it happens to me everyday, i am so nervouse that i have to check the rink couple of times a days to see if the stones are right there.....

I try to be careful but I do hit into things and I get so scared I'm going to break the prong and lose one of the diamonds.

I hear you. He's say if I knock the diamond out I am in big trouble. I try turning it around if I know I am going to do some to much. Oh I just take it off and put it on m chain.

Mine does all the time, I actually take it off when i get home becuase im scared im going to ruin it doing laundry or something...

always happens to me- if you feel nervous have it checked out by your jeweler he can re-adjust the prongs if they every get loose
