I know a lot of people dont listen or think they dont like country music, but I really wanted to share this song with you.
ive had it on my ipod for a while and never really listened to the words today.. and when I did, I got major goosebumps.

I have loved this song for months. Too bad my FH hates country ... I happen to love it ... we are playing our iPod during the cocktail hour, I may try to squeeze this onto the playlist ... :)

I think it just sounds more , soft rock, pop genre????

I fell in love with the song 'this ring' but FH doesnt like Country either.

I really don't think it sounds very country. A lot of the new country that's out there sounds very much like regular rock, in my opinion. It has a twang to it, that's all. Like Keith Urban - love him - and Faith Hill, etc. I listen to Gretchen Wilson, too, and she's got a lot of country in her, I think, but also a lot of rock. And I love it for the MEANING behind the songs ... so many country songs are about love, family, God, etc. ... and so many other songs out there are about sex, money, drugs, etc. (Have you heard 'Songs about me' by trace atkins? This is exactly what I am talking about.)

Ok, that was a bit of a tangent about country music. Sorry.
