Photoshop is great, isn't it? I don't even 25% of it's capabilities.I love what you did to your picture. It looks like it's gorgeous in full color but the partial B&W makes it look really cool. Nice job!

Very nice Claud...you will be taking every pic now and trying to do that...at least that is what I did when I figured out how to do that.It is all about layers, you have to make an adjustment layer and then bring down the hue/saturation...then paint the area you want to bring the color out in.

Great work Claud. You are going to have some great shots to hang in the house, in addition to the ones the photographers already did for you.

Re: LOOK what I did tonight!!!! New PICS!
Thanks ladies...I am using Photoshop Elements, which is the home version of Photoshop 6.0.Hubby and I were just discussing buying Photoshop 7.0 Digital Darkroom - it's on sale in MicroCenter for $39.95!!
Actually Stacey - I have a little different technique - still using layers, but I use the lasso tool to trace carefully around the part of the pic that I want to either colorized or make B&W, and then copy and paste it over the original print, trying to match the position exactly. Then you can go back in using the Eraser tool to take away any 'excess' you brought over from the other layer. See- this is why I didn't want to explain it in writing...it's SO hard to do!
The petal toss pic is a work in progress...I also want to colorize my hubby's boutinerre and the flying petals...stay tuned for more....!
