Just found out with FFIL/FMIL's wedding gift is...

I'm so excited I had to share.

After we get back from our honeymoon they are paying for us to go to europe for 2 weeks!!!!

Since we are both starting our careers in August/September, we have some time after the honeymoon, and his parents said that we'll never have this kind of free time again...so they wanted us to make the best of it!!!! They are the best!!!

So any suggestions for where to go would be awesome!!

We plan on backpacking....

Well, instead of staying at some higher-end hotels, you hike around most of the day - sightseeing, etc., and then you stay at smaller, cheaper hotels, B&Bs or hostels. It's more travelling - less relaxation...

A lot of my friends went backpacking around europe right after they graduated college.

Anything is possible. 7 places -- 2 days each.

You can start in Portugal, make your way to Spain, and then France and Italy. You might also be able to get Greece in, but you'd have to fly or take a boat (not sure they even offer boats to do that.... just a random thought).

Oh, and you also have to go to Kazakhstan.

That sounds like a lot of fun! You will get to see so much more of Europe that way!
