Restaurants in or near Garden City

For our rehersal dinner? We prefer Italian & not too expensive (family style would be best!) And, a private room (approx 25-30 people max) would be best. TIA

There is a good one across the st from Roosevelt Field, I forgot the name and Baci is really good too

Novita is nice.
Also, Vincents but they dont have a private room.

Waterzooi is nice too...but its not italian.
seventh street cafe is nice

Uncle Bacala's is pretty good. It's in Garden City and they have a private room.

baci is not across the street, its a little bit down the road maybe 5 mins away right on the corner of post avenue

ETA: sorry thought you said baci is across the street.

I like Baci's but they never take reservations and the parking lot is too small.

Cafe Formaggio is right by Roosevelt Field and very good.

Seventh Street Cafe
Baci
Uncle Bacala's (they give you cotton candy at the end of each meal)

my friend's uncle actually owns Uncle Bacala's...I pass it every day on my way home from work, it always smells so good! (and it's not actually in Garden City, it's Garden City Park)

We should do a Baci's GTG one night. My best friend (whos also a BM) husband owns it (i was actually there for lunch today too) i'm sure we'd get good hookups on some yummy food...whos in!!! lol i'd do anything for food

There is also City Cellar and Julio y Cesare which is supposed to be the best italian food ever!

Down the road from Uncle Bacala's is Piccolo Bussola...the food is amazing there and they do showers too.
