I think its interesting that it is so split down the middle! I guess it is just so drilled in my head that I needed to get married in the church that I assumed that most people get married at the church too.

Not that there is anything wrong with getting married at the RH. . I think its very convenient for the guests and it can be very pretty!!!

We're getting married ar the RH.

I'm Catholic, FH is Lutheran and we are getting married by an Episcopalian minister.

We didn't want to argue about whose church we used. And the minister is a family friend, so getting married at the RH was just a wise choice for us.

Long story short, we're getting married at the hall and my mom is really NOT happy about it.

Our wedding was too damn early to go to my family's western nassau church (wedding out in Massapequa 30 mins away!) and my FH is Lutheran, not Catholic and is very anti-precana and I don't give a criz-ap cuz I'm not relig either. It just worked out better this way. I'm ashamed to say this, but it would kinda LOOK nice in a church but that is NOT the right reason to marry in a church. Well, for me anyway.
