had my first fitting yesterday! that went very good- went by florist and changed a couple of things with my flower-- looking around this site give us way to many ideas sometimes  and i got 3 rsvp back yesterday after non back for 6 days!!! that made me the happy and they were all yes so i am getting closer to our magic number of 100!!!
i do have to call the dj and see if i can change our meeting to a thurday instead of a tuesday. but other than that i think the weekend was a good one- hope you all had a great weekend!!!

this week we have second meetings with our music band and videographer, and also taking our first dance lesson. So, I finally gathered the baby/growing up photos and went over the order with FH. We also discussed music selections for the various parts of the video...it was less painful than I expected!
And we chose our first and second dance songs (we want one song to dance to by ourselves, and one for family and bridal party to dance to with us).
We also booked our rehearsal dinner place (at Plaka Tavern in Jackson Heights, Queens) and a flower girl brunch (at Toscas in the Bronx)...all 3 flower girls live out of state and won't be able to attend the rehearsal, so we're having a brunch for them the day before the wedding to give them their gifts and review anything they need to know.
Finally, we attended a sweet 16 today at Water's Edge in Queens...great food! And the DJ (Greekwave.com) played awesome music that had young and old dancing, so we had a good time.

Hi Girls!! I've been ***** i know!! We are sooo soon!! I'm so close to that one month mark..yay date twins!!
Sooo much going on, as you all know! Gettings so real and stressful lol
I had mu shower sept 13th it was perfect! It was at The Carltun, i was surprised..and it was all i could have dreamed of. My mom planned everything to the smalled details and my bridesmaids were sooo sooo soo gererous...the gifts never stopped...annnnnd they told me that for my bachelorette party..we;re going to Miami!!! Thats next weekend and im soo excited! 16 girls!!
I'm definitely a lil overwhelmed planning anyone else all of a sudden feeling that way? Our rsvp deadline is in 2 days adn we're still missing 80 people...and we have a meeting every other day...i feel like we dont get any alone time!
I'm soo stressed about programs and menus...i cant pick soemthing and focus on it!
thanks for listening...i hope everyone is doing well!!!
it feels like fall weather now too!!

I am totally freaking about EVERYTHING! I no longer can sleep...i am always tired bc i feel like i have so much to do ..totally anxious!
AND... i had my first fitting, and the really expensive necklace i bought for my dress DOES NOT MATCH!
I am off today and tomorrow and my goal is to get programs and menus done!

dont worry...we're the end of november...so still time left to get things done 
as far as the necklace...if u really cant wear it...did u try to return/exchange it? maybe u can wear it for another occassion. if u really think u need something see if u can borrow from someone like your mom, gma, sister, friend.
we met with the rh to go over menus and i cant even start them yet because they havent sent me back the approved menu!

Thanks Marigrace!! Everything has really gotten nuts and I totally agree on not sleeping...my dream that I remember last night was a list of TO-Do's...soo annoying!
I don' t know why but these programs are driving me crazy...I just can't seem to do it how I want it! I found a company online that will do exactly what I want for about 2500 and its nothing special belive me...I just think 2500 is nuts just crazy for programs.
I'm so sorry about your necklace..thats so upsetting and disappointing!! If you love it and can wear it to another special event keep it but if not..ebay might be a good place for it...if it can't be returned.
I took engagement pictures on saturday..it was rainy...aka frizzy so I'm a little upset but I'll see after I see the pictures...church mtg. tomorrow...2nd dress fitting on thursday...always something now a days!
So glad everyone seems to be doing well!!

I sent her the wording and I picked out the format, and now ive heard nothing. I really dont want to go through all that, if she doesnt get back to me im just not going to do one. Doesnt she want my business, God....

any ideas where ure going while ure there? so far i think we want to go to wet willies cuz its a step outside our condo. we're looking for a trendy place with good music to dance to (like current stuff/hip hop...stuff with a good beat hahaha).

i cant find anything i like. i want a booklet but i dont want to punch holes for the ribbon....so i have no idea how to "bind it". and i need it to be a booklet cuz we're having a full mass so i want to write out all the parts and the responses
if i cant figure anything out this weekend with the girls...im just going to go with the standard booklet with the punches and ribbon (like bluegreen)

about south beach..i just dont knwo but I will fill you in when i get home...I've never been there and im not sure what the girls have planned.

It was surreal!! FH said I was smiling the whole time!
For Queens girls, something that the Kew Gardens courthouse doesn't tell you, even when you call on the phone, is that for the Marriage Bureau, DON'T wait on line in front of the courthouse on the Queens Blvd side. Go around the back to where they have a sign that says "Summons Line." FH and I got there early, waited in front, and were directed by security to go around the back. By the time we got there, the line was long!
