When are u sending Save the Dates?

Are you girls sending out save the dates? We're having a lot of out of town guests, so I'm trying to figure out the best time to send them.

Our wedding in June 09, but I feel like if we send them out now people will think we're crazy for sending them so early, lol. Maybe 1 year before the wedding?

I don't know if this matters...but we aren't having an engagement party.

Hey there....I'm getting married a year before you (almost exactly!) and about 75% of our guests are from out of town. I have the STD's but haven't sent them out yet.

I'll probably send them out this month. I think 6-9 months is plenty of time. Honestly I think that if you send them out too early people will forget about them.

I was thinking a year before the wedding would be good. My wedding is during the week so that is the reason for the STD's and we have some people from OOT

I'm thinking of sending out mine next august which wouuld be 1 yr b4 the wedding.

thats so funny, i was just looking at STD's online. HAHA. I'm thinking 12-9 months before the wedding. I'll probably order them over the summer.

I was gonna send them out a year in advance, or at the engagement party, since that will also be a year away from the wedding

I am thinking of handing mine out at our engagment party in the spring, and mailing the rest out around that time too. Since mine is during a holiday weekend, I want to get them out a little earlier.

Getting married in July so i plan on sending them out maybe the December before the wedding, gives 7 months prior.

We already sent ours...even though we know it is really early but we have been together forever and to avoid everyone asking us when the big day is we just sent them out in August.

I am definitely sending save the dates b/c I am getting married over Labor Day weekend so I don't want people to book vacations and be unable to come...I am going to send them out just before the one year mark.

Yes I am going to send them out one year before as well. We are getting married the weekend before Thanksgiving so I don't know if people will be traveling then so I will be sending them out this time next year.

i think no more than a year before the wedding...more like 10 months before...people tend to have short term memories lol
