Where are you all storing your wedding "stuff" until the big day?

My apartment doesnt have much closet space, so we got a few boxes, and hid them behind the couch, and everytime something comes in, we add it to the box. So far so good. Soon we'll have too much.

I have taken up my grandfathers office and guest room closet. I dont think he is enjoying it too much either! LOL

So far at the bottom of the closet, and some in boxes in living room. Same problem here, but i don't expect to have much more coming in.

So far I have all the bridal things, plus the ring pillow, flower basket. What else should I expect to need?

Whatever gifts we get we decide where to put them (and who's apartment - I get the girly stuff, he gets the wine glasses, and champagne)

Wedding stuff I have been collecting - cushion, candles, etc are in an under the bed sealed rubbemaid container

I'm not getting married until next Oct. but for some reason the boxes are just piling up in a corner of my room. I told my Dad the other day I need to get a bin to store this stuff and if I could put it in the garage until I move out. Believe it or not he said yes (my dad is very "protective" of his garage, we have to run past him anything we want to stick in it, HAHA!)

It has consumed our guest room, I hope we don't have anyone come visit us anytime soon!

All of our stuff is being kept at my parent's house in my old room.

All my stuff is at my moms in a spare closet, icluding the dress!

My dress can only go one place -- Dad's house, b/c Len can't see it and my sis has a CAT !!!!!

I have no idea what I am going to do with my dress yet... Should be interesting trying to get all this stuff, plus my dress up to NY

I HAVE NO ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have stuff EVERYWHERE!!! Right now I hava roommate so I try to keep it all away...I have some stuff in a corner of my dining room, some stuff in my tiny bedroom, some stuff in my closet, any presents that we get are in my basement (we live near the water so I'm a little afraid of flooding ) Thank God hurricane season is over, and my dress is at my cousins. I just hope I find everything when it comes time to need it

my gown will have to stay at FMIL's house (since she's gonna make it for me) but any other stuff I get will probably have to stay in the middle of the floor because I dont have room for lint in my apt.!

Gown and veil are at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point. Still waiting on headpiece, shoes from myglassslipper.com didn't fit and are now in my upstairs closet ; any registry gifts we have gotten are half at our house and half at FIL's house. Hey - I have a question! Is it bad luck or anything to start using stuff now that we are getting from our registry? We got a hand mixer and a bed tray that will come in really handy....

where ever we can find room basically...

a closet, under the bed, my parents place, on top of the wall unit....we have a small apartment so space is limited...where ever there is space is where the wedding stuff is going

Right now in my brothers old room. We close on our house in 10 days, so we can start bringing our stuff over to our new home

Excellent, Liz. I was getting reallllly tired of making mashed potatoes by beating them to death with a wooden spoon - and brownie mix? Forget about it! No way to get those lumps out without a hand mixer....

We really haven't bought wedding stuff yet. Am I that behind?! My wedding is in about 6 months, yet the only things we have are books!

That is one of the reasons that I was warned by a past bride not to get too excited buying up a lot of things, b/c 1) People give you a lot of the stuff at your shower ie toasting flutes, guest book, server sets, garter etc. 2) You will always get the stuff you need, wedding supply stores are not going out of business before your wedding 3) Getting it too early will make you 2nd guess your purchases, b/c you might see something else come along and you might not be able to get rid of it 4) In my/your excitement you might purchase more than you need, I learned the hard way. I threw away so much unused wedding junk. Ladies I know at times it can be hard to resist but be patient in your purchases. LIZ

yes you, I think when your MOH send out your shower invite she will have to include a list that says Do not buy a, b, c she already purchased it for herself
