Themes: Fall Wedding

Hello Everyone.

I am getting married in the fall. At first, I wasn't going to have a theme wedding. Now that I think about it In order to cut back on so many different ideas, I think having a theme is a great idea.

I've heard things like Midsummers Night Dream.... and things like that....I like the romantic feel of the theme.....the problem is... I'm getting married in the fall....

I'm thinking romantic.... whimsical. Any suggestions?

I'll be happy when the beginning of wedding planning is over with.

Re: Themes: Fall Wedding

I had a fall wedding without the leaves and pumpkins due to the room we had our reception in. I wanted more fall elegance than rustic fall. I did brown overlays over deep red linens with gold charger plates, amber candle votives everywhere and deep red and orangey flowers. Here's the flowers. We had high and low. So far, no pics of the lows. I'll post more as I get them.

Re: Themes: Fall Wedding

you can do playful things for fall. like sugared pumpkins or fall fruit, cornucopias with unusual centers (maybe marizpan vegetables?) you could even get crazy and do weird things with feathers or serve upscale thanksgiving food, like dressed up turkey!

Re: Themes: Fall Wedding

What a beautiful theme. You can very easly make this theme work. Try getting married outside (weather permitting) and decorate your hall with twigs with autumn leaves. You and your BMs might consider empire dresses. It fits the theme with the play.

Re: Themes: Fall Wedding

Check out my photo album. I did some cool things!

I glittered real pumpkins as placecard holders, fall programs, petal cones and the flowers!!! I love fall flowers!!!

I had a custom cake topper with leaves made.

There are other really nice fall weddings that you can see on here. Do a search!!

Great time of year to get married.

FM me with any questions!!!
Good Luck!
