Went to a wedding-pics to share

just a few pics to share for us wedding nuts : )

I went to a wedding tonight at Liberty State Park in NJ, and what a beautiful place. The view was the Manhattan skyline & the statue of liberty. John's cousin got married & she is the President of a huge dept of Morgan Stanley, so the wedding was very nice ( Caviar, seafood & lobsters were served in the cocktail hour !) They told us not to bring money (the couple don't need it-wow I wish that was me lol!, so we brought a gift off the registry).
Also, the ushers escorted every woman that came into church arm in arm to their seats which is what I am doing, it was really very elegant. The centerpieces in the cocktail hour were a bowl with a floating candle & cranberries inside. Simple yet very pretty.
Just to let everyone know, she had a 9 piece band who were excellent but took a long dinner break!!?
My personal choice is I like DJ's because this doesn't happen. When there is NO music playing it's so bad. Everyone was saying how they hate when a band takes breaks & there is no music.
I also like the true songs played by a dj better. (JMO sorry to anyone who likes bands)

Here were the pew bows with Christmas greens:



Here is the FG, bottom of her dress was red velvet



This veil is valued at $10k . It has been in the family since 1927. It came from Bergdorf Goodman & has increased in value over the years. There's a story behind the designer & the veil etc, only I am not sure of the story. Every girl in my FH's family has worn it since they got married, I am not
