Help with Bridesmaid gifts

I know there are various threads on here on the topic of bridesmaid gifts but I'm starting to get a little panicky! I thought I finally came to a decision b/c I found an 18' strand of 6mm black pearls for $40 on overstock.com but of course when I went to buy they were OUT OF STOCK. Now I don't know what to do. I want to get them something nice but I can't really afford to spend more than $70/girl- I have 5 of them. I don't want to do the robe thing- that's just not like my girls, nor do I have the time to take them for a spa visit. The wedding is Jan 31 and I'm STUMPED!

I know you ladies can come up with something! HELP.

Have you checked Thingsremembered.com? They have some jewelery there also.

Good Luck!

How about engraved bracelets?

All of the girls have about every Tiffany piece known to man! An engraved bracelet wouldn't match the bracelets they all already have- you know? I am just nervous b/c they all have done so much for me & I want to get them something really nice but I'm super tight for cash!

Re: Help with Bridesmaid gifts

What about treating the girls for their hairdos if you are all going together? I had 4 girls and I took care of their hair & makeup. I think they really appreciated it, it can be costly... and how many 'things' do we all need.... just a thought.

It stinks, but we aren't all getting our hair done together. Only 4 are coming with me- 2 others are going to their own girls. And not all of them are getting mani/pedis either! It's difficult. I've been in a few weddings. One gift I got was a very nice beaded evening bag in black. I use it all the time- but I can't do that b/c the girl is in my party too!

Re: Help with Bridesmaid gifts

I was thinking about getting my BMs post earings from Tiffany's to wear at the wedding. They have teardrops, regular post, braided post, etc.

Re: Help with Bridesmaid gifts

Not sure what your BMs tastes are but the Bombay Company has some beautiful things on sale right now. I got myself a beautiful wooden photo box for like 50 bucks! They had all sorts of keepsake type things in that price range. If my wedding wasn't two years away, I would have picked up the photo boxes for my whole bridal party!

Re: Help with Bridesmaid gifts

The thingsremembered.com website has some nice gift baskets. You could engrave their initials on them, or something.

Re: Help with Bridesmaid gifts

For a little more than $70 you can get them silver jewerly from Tiffany & Co. I think everyone likes that. I odered all of my gifts online & it worked out great!
